"Einar will keep his end of the bargain. You don't need to doubt him." She glared at me, "YOU, should definitely not doubt him." She was clearly angry, "He's the only one who tried to treat you nicely."

For the first time in years, I felt rather ashamed.
She was right.
Einar was not someone 'I' should point fingers at.
"I was not doubting him." My tone might have made it seem that way, "I just want to know where he is..." I looked at her, "Because I know he's not in the Wellington Duchy."
"..." She calmed down as well, "I told you, he will keep his end of the bargain... So he went away."
My eyes widened for a moment, "With his health?" I stood up from the chair.
She looked away, "I asked him the same question." Her eyes wandered around the balcony, "But he simply told me that his health didn't matter." She looked annoyed, "I'm still mad at how you both lied to me."
