"Did you send my daughter through a Thryssa, Damarion?" He questioned, and Damarion looked around at all the eyes on him.
His council members, his sons, and his wife.
This was a shameful position to be in. He had to do something to salvage it.
"I didn't send her through the Thryssa. The stubborn child insisted on going through it, and nothing we said swayed her decision." Damarion replied, and Solrath raised a brow. The flames of his anger were stoked at the absurdity of the words he just heard.
"You expect me to believe that?!"
"She's your daughter. You should know where she got her stubbornness from and how difficult it would be to change her mind." Damarion yelled back, and this time, Solrath's anger grew.
Everyone watched in anger as the air around Solrath's grip on Damarion began to crackle.
"Solrath, she's going to come back!" Velnara yelled in panic, but Solrath didn't take his eyes off Damarion.
"When?" He asked, and Velnara swallowed.
