Adrien woke up the next morning and prepared for his early-morning jog, though it was still more of a walk with small intervals of light jogging mixed in at this point.
With the sky still dark out, he left his room. A faint fishy smell assaulted his nose as soon as he stepped outside of the dormitory. It had rained the night before and the ground was a little damp. Keeping an eye out for any slick spots, Adrien started the morning off with a light jog.
The soft glow from the Light Mana Crystals illuminated his path as he made his way to the walkway that went around the pond. His breathing was starting to become labored as he struggled to catch his breath.
I'll try to last just a little bit longer before I switch back to walking, Adrien thought to himself with determination.
