Chapter 53 - Chapter 15: The Dribbling Monster Enters the Field

The stadium roared as Fukura High took their positions on the field, but something was different this time. The air was thick with tension, like a storm waiting to explode.

On the opposing side, a lone figure stood, his posture relaxed, yet his very presence sent a chill down Fukura's spine.

Yuusuke Kazama.

A name that carried weight in Japan's youth soccer scene.

He wasn't just a skilled dribbler—he was a phantom on the field, a nightmare for defenders, a player who defied logic. His playstyle was erratic, unreadable, and deadly. No one knew which way he'd move until it was already too late.

Fukura's captain, Renji, clenched his jaw.

"We need to shut him down fast."

But deep down, he knew it wouldn't be that easy.

Kickoff: The Storm Begins

The whistle blew, and immediately, Kazama received the ball near midfield. His eyes scanned Fukura's formation—then he moved.

A blur of motion. A series of rapid touches.

One, two, three defenders lunged at him—and all three missed.

Kazama slipped through them like water, his body shifting at impossible angles, his dribbles so tight and controlled that even the slightest misstep meant getting left in the dust.

"What the hell—?!" Renji turned in shock, already too late.

Kazama had cut through Fukura's midfield in an instant.

Shun's eyes locked onto him.

"He's fast... but more than that, he's unpredictable."

Kazama's feet danced over the ball, twisting and shifting as if gravity didn't apply to him.

He wasn't just dribbling.

He was toying with them.

But then—Shun stepped in.

Shun vs. The Dribbling Monster

Kazama grinned as he saw Shun approach.

"Finally, something interesting."

With a flick of his ankle, he nudged the ball forward. Shun reacted instantly, closing the space—but Kazama was gone.

A double feint. His body leaned left, then instantly snapped right, leaving Shun frozen for a fraction of a second.

Kazama vanished past him.

Shun turned sharply, eyes widening. "Damn it, he's fast—"

Just before Kazama could break into the box, Renji lunged in for a desperate tackle, barely disrupting the ball.

Kazama clicked his tongue, but he didn't seem disappointed. Instead, his eyes were locked on Shun.

"You're good," Kazama said, flashing a smirk. "But not enough to stop me."

Shun's fingers curled into fists. Not yet.
