Hearing Jared's words, Fen almost choked. Although he already had heard a few things from Kade, his friend had always framed it as 'my cute little mate's stupid former mate'. So to hear Jared declare Felix as his future Luna so boldly… Fen immediately threw a furtive glance at Kade.
And sure enough, there was a vein pulsing at the side of Kade's neck, and his eyes were a bit too dark, his smile too tense. But at least he managed to remain calm enough to keep on the act.
"I understand," he nodded his head solemnly. "In such case, what do you think happened to him?"
"This…" Once again, Jared exchanged uneasy glances with the Elders. "Since he hasn't run away, then it must be a kidnapping."
