Obviously, Jared had never seen one before. Something like this didn't exist back in his former world.
Rumors that the government wanted to build one did spread for a while after the invention of AI. But as it would seem, nothing was done about it.
As such, Jared would be no different from the rest of the villagers. He too would need to know how this robot worked.
