For years, they speculated about the true purpose behind his actions, eventually forming a single hypothesis: Devil Fruits. While they never truly understood why Ayr was gathering so many—especially ones already deemed unusable or redundant—they suspected a larger plan was at work.
After secret negotiations with the Five Elders in Mariejois, the World Government decided to tempt Ayr with a business deal, offering him a selection of these mysterious fruits. Now, seated in front of a pristine glass table aboard a marine battleship on neutral waters, ten Devil Fruits lay lined up in front of him—each one pulsing with strange, latent energy. Ayr's gaze swept across the table, his eyes calm, unreadable.
"…Not interested," he said, the words falling like thunder and catching everyone off guard.
Ayr had spent years hunting Devil Fruits across the Grand Line and New World. But what the World Government didn't know was that he wasn't collecting them to consume or sell—but to awaken the Eight Tails' Chakra, the final threshold before unlocking the power of the Ten Tails and becoming its Jinchūriki. Now, with the ten fruits presented before him, combined with the ones he'd absorbed and stored within his Nine Tails' Spiritual Dimension, Ayr had finally accumulated enough to unlock the final Chakra node of the Eight Tails.
Unwittingly, the World Government had just handed him the key to godhood.
"What business do I have left with the World Government?" Ayr said coldly. "I already have what I need."
"Gurararara… A smart decision, Ayr," Whitebeard laughed from the side, leaning on his Bisento, Cong Yun Qiang. "These bastards never make fair trades. They're up to something."
"Are you absolutely certain you want to decline?" asked a masked CP0 agent, his tone edged with quiet threat.
"I'm not only declining," Ayr replied, unfazed, "I'm not letting you take the ten Devil Fruits you brought."
The agents flinched in unison. Though Ayr's expression remained unchanged, the pressure in the room turned suffocating. The World Government had hunted his agency for intelligence, hoping these fruits would give them leverage—but instead, they had walked right into a trap.
"Idiots," Whitebeard muttered with a wide sneer. "Coming here was your mistake."
He raised his Bisento. "Since you're already here… none of you are leaving alive."
In an instant, the Whitebeard Pirates crew surrounded the CP0 operatives, cutting off their escape. Tension snapped into chaos as swords clashed, Haki surged, and explosions tore through the battlefield—yet Ayr remained still, unmoved by the fight behind him. His focus stayed on the ten Devil Fruits as his fingers hovered above them.
Then, the system's voice echoed in his mind:
"Ding! Host has accumulated enough Devil Fruits to unlock the Eight Tails. Do you wish to consume 45 Devil Fruits to proceed?"
"Yes," Ayr responded without hesitation. He was long past caring about how absurd the system's requirements were. He just wanted power—the power of the Ten Tails.

As he saw the Ten Tails status bar unlock, a rare smile crossed Ayr's face. Power surged through him—dense, ancient, primordial. But then, the system issued a warning:
> "Ding! Warning: Host's Fairy Eye ability is insufficient to fully control the Ten Tails."
"Ding! Host cannot fully release the Ten Tails' power due to incomplete Fairy Eye progress."
Ayr's smile faded slightly. "…Incomplete?"
He recalled the ancient chakra texts hidden within the Uzumaki ruins. Two requirements were needed to master the Ten Tails: the Sage Body to contain divine power, and Divine Eyes—either Rinnegan or, in his case, the Fairy Eye—to control it. His Sage Body had reached its maximum level, granting him the durability and chakra suppression necessary to house the Ten Tails without physical collapse. But his Fairy Eye—an evolved Rinnegan infused with spiritual energy—was still only at mid-stage, leaving his control incomplete.
> "Ding! Host can use Ten Tails powers temporarily, but prolonged use will trigger a backlash from its chaotic will."
"Only when the Fairy Eye reaches late-stage will full control and true Jinchūriki state be achieved."
Even so, Ayr clenched his fist, feeling divine pressure hum through his veins. Temporary or not, he now wielded power capable of shaking the world—and for now, that was enough.

A new icon flickered on his interface. In the corner of the system screen, a golden "Mall" tab had appeared. "…Mall?" he muttered, clicking it mentally.
A new screen unfolded, displaying only one item:

Ayr's eyes narrowed. It was the same card he had used before the Battle of the Valley of the Gods—the one that pushed his Conqueror's Haki to MAX. His Armament and Observation Haki had remained stalled at 2500/4000 for months, partly because he focused on evolving the Fairy Eye and collecting Devil Fruits, and partly due to the notoriously brutal nature of Haki training, even for someone like him.
He squinted, noticing a faded gray text beside the item's price: "Random Ability: ???"
His brows furrowed. "…Random ability? What's that supposed to mean?"
