Nathan's POV
The sunlight reflected from the window onto my face, making me murmur and grumble before slowly opening my eyes. I glanced around and realized I was back in my room. My head throbbed with pain, like I'd been struck with a hammer.
Sighing faintly, I sat up in bed and leaned my head back against the headboard as flashes of memories stormed through my mind.
I remembered everything that had happened last night—every disgraceful detail. I remembered my behavior at the club, how I lost control, and I even remembered how Derrick took me with brutal force.
I instinctively reached for my neck and winced at the pain—Derrick's grip had left its mark, both physically and emotionally.
Painfully, I blinked through the sting in my eyes as tears began to fall down my cheeks. I felt ashamed of myself—utterly broken—and wished there was some way to escape this torment.
