You have 30 seconds to decide.

Do you accept the terms and conditions of the system?.

Thirty seconds to make a decision? On agreeing to something I didn't even comprehend or know? However, there was no opportunity to consider the alternative due to the menacing tone. After that, I replied, "Yes, OK, I accept." I was so frustrated by this that I was screaming without even realizing it.

{Congratulations}

{System installation complete}

{Interface ready to initiate}

After hearing only the loading sound for almost 20 times, all of a sudden I saw in front of me letters floating, which was the only thing I could see since I opened my eyes in this room. The dispersed letters that were scattered all around combined and became words that were blurry at the beginning. I couldn't make out the shape of the letters or what language it was. I even had to blink a couple of times to see it clearly until at the end it formed a sentence in English that I could read.

{Greetings, applicant. This method of using the system will help you navigate your objective and assignment and will support you throughout your journey.}

{Using it is beneficial to you, and discarding it aside is up to you.}

{Please touch or say proceed whenever you're ready.}

{A brief instruction on how to utilize the system will be provided to you shortly.}

Then the sentence vanished and was replaced by a single word after a few more seconds during which I was still perplexed by what was happening.

{Continue}

I said, "Continue," not knowing what to expect from all this. But I didn't have any other options available for me to choose from. All I had to do was follow the instructions of this system and see where it goes from here. Like a virtual reality game screen, the writings popped up in front of me. At the top right side corner of the screen, the word "{Menu}" appeared.

Upon pressing the menu icon, I saw a few short lists of names with picture icons; the first one was as follows:

Profile

Inventory

Market

Missions

Acheavment

Setting

There was not much else to see there. I don't know what I expected to see, but I was kind of disappointed. Then I pressed the first one.

Profile:-

Name: Thomas

Age: 20

Level: 0

State: Loked {Will unlock upon gaining levels}

Skills: Not Available

Points: 0

Equipment: Nil

Before I even started looking around the other icons, I heard the same voice in my head again: {The brief information for the system will start immediately; you can select and touch the desired icon, and then you will hear the description}.

Profile:

{The profile will contain basic information about you. And you can measure your progress by checking it frequently. And the information will be updated automatically all the time.}

Level:

{You can gain levels by completing missions assigned to you; each level gained will increase all of your stats, like strength, dexterity, intelligence, and vitality. Each gained level will grant you 10 attribute points that you can distribute it the way you wish, and it will be unlocked when you gain your first level up.}

Skills:

{Skills are gained or granted through mission accomplishment. As a reward or can be purchased through the system. And also by learning them through various sources. For example, reading about it and trying to implement what you learned.}

Points:

{Points are gained by completing missions and can be used to increase your attributes and level and can also be used as currency to purchase from the market.}

Equipment:

{Equipment is the gear you can wear and use to defend yourself with. You can add your gear and equipment to the inventory and equip it as necessary after you obtain it. You can obtain it from the market or simply collect it from the towns or what was dropped from your enemies}.

That was too much information for me, but fortunately I was a gamer, and most of the information given was simple enough for me to understand it and relate it to the games that I know of. Inventory was self-explanatory, so I didn't need to check it. And from the little things I saw from the profile.

I guessed that there was nothing in it at the moment. Still, I will check it later. But what I am curious about at the moment is the rest of it, such as the market and missions. So I clicked on Market first.

Market:

{Market is a universal organization that deals in selling and buying everything there is to sell or buy. Simply search for whatever you're looking for, and if it's available anywhere in the universe, you can buy it, and you can sell through it any excess material or equipment that you don't need.}

That was good info, very brief it may be, but still I got the idea, although the word universe made me wonder what it means, but I didn't dwell on that, and I touched the next icon.

Mission:

{Missions are a specific assignment tailored to your situation, issued to you by the system for your advancement and growth. You will be rewarded accordingly if you are successful in reaching the specified goal. And you will be penalized if you fail. Be aware that you are not allowed to fail more than 3 times during the first five trials. And each failure will impact your level and growth afterwards.}

So that is like quests in games and light novels, "I wonder what is going on here, what is happening to me." I read a few light novels about being summoned to another world. I personally don't believe in fantasy worlds and reincarnations and such fictions. I am sure I didn't die or get summoned, because although something is absolutely wrong here, I am sure that this is my apartment, and by thinking alone I will not be able to reach anywhere.Since the headache subsided at the moment I had to move and reach the kitchen. But before I even stood up. I noticed on the screen that was still open that the mission icon was blinking; by reflex I touched the icon.
