"Attention, everyone!" Our homeroom teacher stood at the front of the class. "We have a new transfer student today."

"Who is it?" a boy asked.
The teacher motioned for silence before gesturing toward the door.
"Everyone, please welcome Mika from the Auronia Kingdom."
The entire class froze.
"What?! Auronia?!" the class president exclaimed.
"Why is someone from one of the Three Great Nations here?!" another student shouted.
The teacher sighed and tapped the desk. "Quiet down. Let her introduce herself."
A girl stepped forward.
A familiar girl.
The same crimson-black-haired girl from yesterday.
She smiled confidently as she introduced herself.
"Hello, everyone. My name is Mika from Auronia. I came here because… there's someone I want to meet."

"Someone?" a girl asked curiously.
Mika smirked. "That's a secret."
I felt a chill run down my spine.
"What does she mean by that…?"
"Alright, Mika," the teacher said. "You can choose where to sit."
Mika scanned the room, her eyes carefully moving from one student to another. I instinctively lowered my head, trying to avoid eye contact.

"I want to sit there!" Mika pointed at the empty seat next to me.

I was just a quiet girl! The entire class usually kept their distance from me, so why did she choose to sit beside me?!
As she placed her bag down, she suddenly turned to me with a bright smile.
"Let's be good friends from now on, Syahreen."
"H-Huh?! How do you know my name?!"
Mika chuckled softly. "Because I checked the class information, of course."
"What?! But students aren't allowed to access that information!"
