On this particular day, a bizarre sight appeared in the skies above the Douluo Continent—a man was flying through the air holding a large bathtub, with a woman sitting on his back, and that woman was carrying yet another woman in her arms.
Not far from the gates of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan, Su Xiaoqi used the little time he had left to give some final instructions to Ning Rongrong and Meng Yiran.
As the countdown ticked into its final ten minutes, Su Xiaoqi looked at the two girls and smiled."Rongrong, Yiran, I have to go. If anything comes up, I'll have Zhuqing pass the message to you."
"Why the long faces? It's not like I'm dying. Come on—smile for me."
But neither Ning Rongrong nor Meng Yiran could force a smile. They were barely holding back tears—only because Su Xiaoqi had told them he didn't want to see them cry.
At that moment, Zhu Zhuqing glanced at the two and said,"If you want to hug him, go ahead. Just this once—I'll allow it."
With Zhu Zhuqing's approval, the two girls didn't hesitate.
Ning Rongrong, clinging to Su Xiaoqi's left side, declared,"Su Xiaoqi, even if I have to turn the Douluo Continent upside down, I will find a way to trigger a quest that lets Zhuqing bring you back."
Meng Yiran, holding on from the right, added,"Me too. No matter how long it takes, I won't give up."
Su Xiaoqi hugged the two girls and chuckled."Then I'll look forward to seeing you again. Take care of yourselves. Goodbye."
The moment Su Xiaoqi vanished, Ning Rongrong immediately turned to Zhu Zhuqing."Zhuqing, what do you think would happen if I took a cannon and blew up Spirit Hall right now? That should trigger a quest, right?"
Meng Yiran nodded seriously."Then I'll go bomb the Heaven Dou Palace. If we both go all in, at least one of us should succeed."
Zhu Zhuqing's face darkened at once. She glared at them."Whether it'll trigger a quest or not, I don't know. But I do know you'll both get yourselves killed."
"If you really want to see Xiaoqi again, then behave yourselves starting now. I'll find a way to trigger a quest—just be patient."
"Oh..." Ning Rongrong pouted and muttered under her breath,"Easy for you to say. You get to see Su Xiaoqi soon enough."
Zhu Zhuqing smirked coldly."Ning Rongrong, are you itching for a beating? Don't think just because Xiaoqi isn't around I can't deal with you. Everything you want from now on? You'll have to come through me."
Ning Rongrong instantly switched to a flattering smile."Zhuqing, I was just kidding! I'll totally listen to you from now on—whatever you say, I'll do it!"
Back in his own world, Su Xiaoqi took a cold shower, changed clothes, and headed for the One Piece world. His body felt... off.
Seeing his serious expression, Nami asked cautiously,"Are you okay?"
Vivi, having heard from Nami about what had happened between him and Zhu Zhuqing, offered,"Things on my end aren't urgent. You can stay here with Zhuqing a few more days if you want."
Su Xiaoqi smiled at the two."Don't worry about me. I'm just going to train."
If he hadn't lent the gravity chamber to Luffy and the others, he wouldn't have been in such a rush to return.
Not long after, Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji were thrown out of the gravity chamber, walking over to Nami looking visibly shaken.
Nami asked curiously,"What happened to you three?"
Luffy pointed exaggeratedly toward the chamber."Su Xiaoqi's gone crazy! He cranked the gravity all the way up to thirty times!"
Zoro nodded."We wanted to try it out… lasted one second before we collapsed. Thought we were gonna die."
Sanji took a puff of his cigarette and muttered,"Guy must've snapped or something. He was lying on the floor like he was done for."
Vivi said worriedly,"Nami, should we tell Zhu Zhuqing?"
Nami shook her head."He hasn't said anything. Probably doesn't want Zhuqing to worry. Let's check on him first."
Inside the gravity chamber, Su Xiaoqi was beginning to suspect that the reason he felt so off was because killing so many people had awakened the violent, battle-hungry Saiyan blood inside him.
Back at Shrek Academy, he had already started to feel something wrong. Instead of feeling any discomfort after all that killing, he'd become more and more excited with each blow. That alone made him suspect it had something to do with his Saiyan bloodline.
When he was around Zhu Zhuqing and the others, the sensation had eased somewhat. But once they parted, the urge to go wild hit him like a tidal wave.
"Damn... I'm losing control."
While he was still lucid, Su Xiaoqi sent a message to Nami telling everyone to stay far away. He then cranked the chamber up to fifty times gravity, using it to pin himself to the floor and stop himself from moving.
"Let's just hope I don't cause too much of a mess."
When Su Xiaoqi woke again, he found himself in Nami and Vivi's room—a place he vaguely remembered visiting once before.
"Huh? Why can't I move?"
"Oh… I'm tied up like a rice dumpling. Great. Just great."
He was totally confused. His body ached all over, but mentally he felt much better—at least that uncontrollable rage was gone.
As he tried to piece together what had happened, he heard Vivi's voice beside him, clearly relieved.
"Su Xiaoqi, you're finally awake! I'll go call Chopper!"
"Wait," Su Xiaoqi stopped her."Can you at least tell me what the hell happened to me?"
After a moment, he got a rough summary of what had occurred while he was unconscious.
In short, he'd gone full berserk mode. Fortunately, the fifty-times gravity had helped contain him. After rampaging in the chamber for a bit, he collapsed from exhaustion—and all his injuries had been self-inflicted from wildly firing off ki blasts in every direction.
Getting him out of there had taken an enormous effort. No one could enter the chamber with the gravity that high, so in the end, Zoro had to literally slice the chamber apart piece by piece just to drag him out.
"My gravity chamber... my 50,000 points..."
Su Xiaoqi was utterly heartbroken. This had to be the unluckiest day of his life.
Then, Vivi hesitated for a second before blushing and softly added,"There's… something else I need to tell you. Please try to stay calm."
Su Xiaoqi blinked."Okay?"
"When we got you out... we noticed something strange. You, um... grew a tail."
"Oh, that explains the weird feeling under my butt... Wait, I grew a TAIL?!"
"Crap, how am I going to explain this to Zhuqing? Should I ask Zoro to cut it off?"
Su Xiaoqi was in complete turmoil. Ever since he first gained the Saiyan bloodline, he had wondered whether he would eventually grow a tail. After all, in early Dragon Ball lore, those things could grow back out of nowhere.
He remembered clearly the time Gohan suddenly grew his back during the Vegeta fight.
Having a tail came with pros and cons. The downside: on a full moon, he might transform into a giant ape. The upside: it was a prerequisite for achieving Super Saiyan 4.
Back then, he hadn't grown one, so he let it go. But now that it had really appeared, he was reluctant to chop it off.
"Guess I should at least take a look at it."
With his right hand—one of the few parts of his body that could still move—Su Xiaoqi lifted the blanket.
"No, wait!"
Vivi saw what he was about to do and tried to stop him, but it was already too late.
...
Su Xiaoqi looked at the now bright-red Vivi, opened his mouth, and then realized—he didn't even know what to say.
What could he do? Pretend it never happened?
That would just be rubbing salt into a girl's wound.
He had no idea that when Chopper bandaged him up, the reindeer had thoughtfully left a gap in front. Now, thanks to that, he'd been seen in full by a woman who wasn't Zhu Zhuqing.
The only silver lining?
Vivi hadn't screamed.Because if anyone else had come in and seen that...
He'd have no face left to show in the crew ever again.
