Chapter 142 - Chapter 142: Xia Yinyue’s Little Thoughts and Family Discipline

As Bai Ze spoke, he raised a finger, and a bottle of tangible space potion appeared in Xia Yinyue's hand.

She was momentarily stunned but carefully examined the item, quickly realizing its extraordinary nature. Curious, Xia Yinyue uncorked the bottle and brought it closer for a sniff. A mysterious scent, unique to the universe, suddenly wafted into her nostrils.

This feeling and aroma she had read about them in textbooks before. The description matched perfectly!

It was indeed a space potion capable of enabling creatures to venture into the universe!

"Such a valuable thing… Are you giving it to me?" Xia Yinyue asked in a softened voice.

She had heard that this potion was incredibly expensive in the outside world, with a single bottle fetching a price of 10,000 federal credits. Only the wealthy elite, prominent families, or the so-called second-generation deities could afford it.

For an ordinary student like her, it was utterly unthinkable.

"It's nothing rare. I have plenty of it," Bai Ze replied casually. "Hmm… giving you 10,000 bottles shouldn't be an issue."

Hearing this, Xia Yinyue's jaw dropped, her eyes widening in shock.

10,000 bottles of space potion.

Based on market value, that was worth at least a billion federal credits! She couldn't even imagine earning that much money if she sold herself to work in the harshest conditions for her entire life.

But to Bai Ze, it seemed like nothing at all.

"Maybe… maybe you shouldn't," she stammered. "This is something so valuable. You shouldn't just give it away. Your creatures need it more than I do to explore space, don't they?"

She tried to return the potion, sincerely refusing his generosity.

However, Bai Ze had a total of 30,000 bottles of space potion in his inventory. Giving her 10,000 bottles barely made a dent.

Moreover, Aurora's pharmaceutical factory had already entered the research and development stage. According to her recent reports, mass-producing these potions wouldn't be a problem. Once that was achieved, producing tens of thousands of bottles would be trivial.

"Enough with the formalities. You're not an outsider," Bai Ze insisted. "Remember, when I first awakened in South City, you were the one who helped me."

As he spoke, Bai Ze pushed the potion back into Xia Yinyue's hands. Then, with a wave of his hand, he summoned 10,000 bottles of space potion from his system inventory.

Most of it was placed into Xia Yinyue's Creator Space, while the rest descended from the sky, scattering among the angels and wind spirits.

"What's this?"

"Potions?"

"Such a rich aura!"

"Where did these potions come from?"

The angels and wind spirits quickly leaped into the air, catching the potions. Just a small sniff made them realize how extraordinary these potions were divine treasures, without a doubt.

"These are called space potions," Aurora explained from her perch on the Forest Dragon's back. "They are gifts from our Lord. Their function is simple drink one, and you'll be able to ascend into space as we do, unaffected by cosmic radiation, no matter how weak your level may be."

Upon hearing her explanation, the angels and wind spirits were stunned.

A potion that could allow any creature to venture into space without suffering the effects of cosmic radiation? Such a miraculous item truly existed?

"If you don't believe me, you can test it for yourselves," Aurora said with a smile.

Having witnessed the large insect creatures earlier, the two clans had no reason to doubt her.

"We believe you!" declared the Holy-Winged Angel. "Praise be to the great Father God for granting us such sacred treasures! Praise be for His assistance!"

The two high-bloodline clans began to chant loudly in unison, voices filled with reverence. The Forest Dragon bowed its head in submission, while Aurora crossed her hands and smiled sweetly.

Meanwhile, outside, Xia Yinyue felt a bit conflicted as she observed the scene.

She knew Bai Ze was determined to give her the potions, but their immense value made her feel unworthy of accepting them so easily.

"Thank you, Xiaobai," she said softly. "But since I've taken something from you, I ought to give you something in return."

"Though… I'm afraid what I have might not interest you," she added, her tone tinged with disappointment.

Seeing her crestfallen expression, Bai Ze quietly approached from behind, stepping silently until he was directly behind her. He reached out, wrapping his arms around her slender waist.

"What you have might not interest me, but there's another way you could repay me," Bai Ze said, his voice low and teasing.

Xia Yinyue's big, bright eyes widened with confusion as she turned to look at him.

"There are many ways to repay a favor. Offering yourself… is one of them," Bai Ze whispered, leaning closer.

His words sent a shiver down Xia Yinyue's spine, and she quickly lowered her head. A rosy blush rapidly spread across her cheeks, reaching her ears and turning them a deep red, as if she were a boiling kettle releasing steam.

Bai Ze chuckled softly, pleased with her reaction. He had only meant to tease her, but to his surprise, Xia Yinyue looked up, her gaze sincere and her voice cautious.

"Do you… want me to?"

The question was asked softly, but Bai Ze heard it loud and clear. For a moment, he froze, utterly stunned.

"Pfft!" Xia Yinyue suddenly burst into laughter at his expression.

Bai Ze nearly choked on his breath, narrowly avoiding a fainting spell.

"All right, all right, I was just teasing you," she said playfully. "Look at how scared you are."

Before Bai Ze could respond, she slipped out of his embrace and walked away, her tone more serious. "Thanks for the potions. If there's anything else you want, just let me know, and I'll give it to you."

It took Bai Ze a moment to recover. This little fox! He had intended to tease her, but she had turned the tables on him!

Noticing her smug expression, Bai Ze suddenly stepped forward, his hand landing sharply on her curvaceous behind.

"Ah!" Xia Yinyue yelped in surprise, turning back to glare at him with a mix of frustration and embarrassment.

"You… you hit me?!"

With that, the two began playfully bickering and chasing each other around the special space.

Back on Bai Ze's planet, the angels and wind spirits now held their space potions with visible excitement.

Since they didn't have containers to carry the potions, Aurora suggested they visit the capital of the Wood Nation to find something suitable.

"The capital is spacious, so don't feel constrained. Consider yourselves guests," Aurora said warmly.

"Thank you for your hospitality," the Holy-Winged Angel replied with a slight bow.

With that, Aurora led the two clans into the skies, heading toward the Wood Nation's capital, where they could also explore and experience new sights.
