"Well I can't get in the water with regular clothes on", I gave him a confused look
"Don't worry too much about it, I'll make a plan", he said while scanning the area
"Make a plan for what?", someone said behind us and that voice sounds exactly like the voice I've heard earlier.
Danny sighed a deep sighed before we both turned around. It was the same girl from earlier and did she follow us?.
She looked me up and down before looking at Danny with a smirk.
"You could do better in my opinion, I've always known you're a man whore but this is pure embarrasi..", before she could finish her sentence Danny roughly grabbed her and pulled her to the side, leaving me all alone.
'Ouch', I thought about what she just said. I don't know which hurt more, her words or Danny leaving me here alone. I could feel tears in my eyes and my body moved on it's own and I rushed to an empty side where I could be alone.
"SAGE!!!!!, I'M OVER HERE", Lisa shouted as she followed behind me to figure out why I was running the opposite direction and not turning around to run to her since she has my phone.
I sat down and tried to fight back the tears and I was doing my best to act normal until Lisa asked, "Are you okay?". I lost it and just started crying over a guy I just met. 'How pathetic am I', I thought to myself
"Shhh, hey It's okay...you can talk to me, I'm right here", Lisa tried to comfort me while rubbing my back and gently wiping the tears off my face.
"I think I wanna go home now, I don't wanna ruin your night with my sadness", I said between sobs and trying to calm down.
She chuckled lightly before saying, "Don't be silly, crying is not a crime"
'She's so nice', I thought to myself. "Now, wanna talk about it or just sit in silence?", she asked while giving me a soft smile
"Silence", I simply replied .
"Where's Danny?, I thought he would be with you", she asked while scanning the environment for any sign of his brother.
"Oh, he left with some other blonde haired girl.....", I paused half way and suddenly I started rumbling "She had the nerve to say I'm a downgrade, how rude of her as if she is any better and why would she even come for my looks, she should fix her fucking attitude. BITCH",I said all frustrated.
"Woah, who got you so worked up?"
"Amanda", a low husky voice said from behind.
We turned around and I immediately crossed eyes with him. 'shit, I hope he didn't hear all that', I thought to myself while turning back and felt embarrassed for cursing his ex out 'which she deserves by the way'
"Well she's an ass, she made Sage cry just now", Lisa said while folding her arms, annoyed. She was acting like my older sister which was kinda weird but I'm not complaining.
Danny went to the other side and gently cupped my chin while using his this thumb to gently rubbing my cheek. "Are you okay?", he asked in a gentle tone
"Well she's not, you idiot. I just said she was crying", Lisa said while rolling her eyes.
"Lisa, shut up". he commanded straight away.
"Well, shesh. I was just trying to help. I'm gonna go get a drink", Lisa said while hanging me my phone. I whispered 'Thank you'.
"Should I bring you one? no? yes?.". Before I could answer she just made up her mind and said "I'll just bring three" and left.
"I'm really sorry for leaving you like that, if I haven't pulled her aside she wouldn't have stopped.", he said while taking a sit next to me.
"Still wanna hit the Jacuzzi?"
"Yea, but what about your sister?", I asked
"She'll be fine, plus didn't you have enough to drink for one night...",before I could answer my phone started ringing.
"It's Toby, I'm sure he's worried sick about me". 'I kinda forgot about him since I was too caught up in my imagery world, just me and the guy I think I'm falling for tonight'.
I took a deep breath, bracing myself for a hardcore lecture before answering the phone. "Hello?", I said in a faint voice.
"Thank God you finally answered. I was so worried I thought I lost", he said in a worried tone. I expected him to shout, yell or maybe even curse me out.
"I'm so sorry, I'm by the pool side but I'm okay. I'm with Danny and Lisa", I tired to reassure him of my safety because I could imagine how worried he was, not the way my mom threaten him about bringing me home safely.
"Okay, you guys stay right there, I'm on my way", he said while hanging up the phone. I checked my phone for any messages and sure like over 20 something missed calls from Toby, 'damn, he was really worried about me'.
"Let's wait for him, then we'll hit the Jacuzzi altogether"
"Sure, let me call up Lisa",
I just watched him talk on the phone and looked at everyone else having fun while I nearly ruined the night for myself and people around me. I sighed a deep sigh and just decided to play games on my phone to pass by time. Five minutes Toby showed up and Danny yelled his name so he could see us since there was a lot of people covering us. Lisa bumped into Toby with drinks in her hands and Toby helped her and they headed towards us.
"Okay guys, since everyone is here let's hit the jacuzzi and have some fun", Danny said with a sly smirk on his face.
"Wait, me and Sage have to go and change first", Lisa said while excited.
"Okay, you guys will find us at the Jacuzzi when y'all are done with whatever girly stuff you guys do that take time", Toby said while chuckling
Lisa grabbed my hand and said "Let's go" and off we went inside the house to go and change. I was lowkey excited since I've never been in a Jacuzzi before, let alone at night with a new 'friend?. Yea I'll just consider her my new friend.
