Kade shrugged, "They are kids."
"_" "You are not an old man yourself, Kade," Ella spoke as they walked along the silent hallway.
"They are not my type. Too young, innocent and naive. And I can bet your life on it that they think I can be their prince charming. I am no prince charming, Ella."
Ella: "_" What do you mean, bet my life?
Sighing, Ella asked, "What do you think of Ruby then?"
Kade flinched, "What… No!" he nearly screamed.
Ella squinted, glancing at him dangerously, "What do you mean by that reaction?"
"Ruby… is too good," Kade sighed, "And someone like her deserves a long term relationship, a loving partner and whatnot. I cannot provide anyone with that so…" He shrugged.
Ella nodded slowly, retracting her invisible dagger.
However, thinking about the 'truth or dare' game night, she couldn't help but sigh. Misunderstandings surely sprouted like anything.
