Ella was momentarily entranced by that little smile on his face. She searched her memory, trying to recall the last time she saw him smile.
Looking at him, Ella remembered a particular saying—The princess has the kind of beauty that can cause a nation's downfall.
"Is it good?"
''Very…" Ella whipped her face away when he caught her staring at him.
Adrian pulled a chair for her and she took a seat, sulking to herself. What was so funny anyway?
"Are these not to your taste?"
The small pout disappeared from her face when she took in the sight of the variety of dishes served on the table. Ella had been on a strict diet for a while now but she did not refrain herself from eating whenever she went out.
She cleared her throat, "Thank…"
Adrian arched a brow, daring her to continue.
