Nikolas exhaled a deep breath he didn't know he'd been holding the moment his eyes landed on Selene.
Although the streetlight was dim, his headlights had taken up the duty of making her glow, lighting up several bursts of warmth across his chest as his lips instantly spread into a wide grin.

His mind painfully slipped back to last night, the memory of him tossing and turning in bed, the sheets twisting around his legs as sleep refused to come. Every time he shut his eyes, she was there soft memories of her digging deep into his head.
