Sarah's eyes seemed to bore into Anna's soul as she spoke. "The mole is someone we least expect," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Anna's heart pounded with anticipation. "Who is it?" she asked, her voice urgent.
Sarah hesitated, glancing around the room. "It's Marcus," she said finally.
Anna's eyes widened in shock. Marcus, the team's trusted strategist? It couldn't be.
"Sarah, are you sure?" Anna asked, her voice laced with doubt.
Sarah nodded. "I've seen the evidence," she said. "He's been feeding information to the Order."
Anna's mind reeled as she thought back to all the times Marcus had been alone with sensitive information. It made sense, yet she couldn't believe it.
