"But I don't think this method will work well," Lydia informed. The twenty year old woman had a tense and concerned expression on her face.
The man in front of her stared at her sternly.
"You're not here to think, Lydia. I know you have a lot of strong opinions, but here, you got to listen to me. You operate on that man just like I tell you," the man vocalized.
Lydia stared at him hesitantly. "But you know he won't survive it. You know we can save him by—"
The man grabbed her shoulders tightly and growled. "No, Lydia, zip it. Do you think you know better than me? Who is in charge here?"
"Come over, quickly. His heart beat is dropping fast!" came a call from inside.
As Lydia was pushed into the room, her mind remained fuzzy while she began to operate on the patient. Although Lydia was under the orders to obey the man, she knew it would be wrong to do so.
That man didn't want to keep the patient alive, but to obtain his fresh heart before it completely shut down.
