Chapter 53 - Radioactive People*

- Well, mutants are mutants," I said, closing my eyes and spreading my hands apart. - I didn't really care what they were called, to be honest. Come on, Ellie, honey, let's get on with it....

- Please wait, Mr Pluto," Xavier interjected.

- Oh, of course," I said tiredly. - Apparently you, as well as your old friend decided to get into the wrong business?

- The matter concerning the mutants concerns me too, - said Professor He firmly, and his team prepared to act.

Speaking of the other mutants. At the sight of these guys, I had in my head played a melody from the same cartoon.

With Xavier arrived a short, sturdily built, muscular woman with a mane of dark hair and a remarkable black and yellow suit. It was Wolverine.

Behind her stood a statuesque, red-haired, smarmy fellow who exuded a latent power that gave off a flame of life and death at the same time. Definitely a local D. Grey. I don't know what his name is in this universe.

Next to the guy was an athletically built stunny girl with long hair and conspicuous red glasses. Cyclops.

A little away from the main group stood a shapely young lady in a tight yellow-green suit. Luxurious brown hair with white fringes left no room for imagination. It's the Bandit.

And last but not least was Ororo Monroe, or Thunderstorm. A beautiful African-American woman with white hair, wearing a suit of the same colour and a huge... Power. I could feel it clearly.

Hmm, two omega-level mutants, one alpha, and three weaker ones. Although, in principle, Bandit could be included in the top. Just feed her a few strong creatures and voila.

- Huh? So, what are you doing here?

- As I've recently learned, you, Mr Yesterday's Promise, make strange contracts, turning humans and mutants into your powerless slaves.

- Hey, that's a lie! - I shook my head and said with a look of offended innocence. - My contract workers, by the way, in addition to fulfilment of the desire of a decent salary and a full social package. There is such a medical. insurance, which most of the population of the Earth has never dreamed of. So don't give me that.

- And the fact that you are one of the criminal leaders of New York is also a lie? - Xavier asked, squinting his eyes.

- And what is your proof? - I answered a question with a question.

- I've heard from some people," the man replied diplomatically, without going into details. He wouldn't say he'd vacuumed someone's thoughts, would he?

- I don't know who you got it from, but something tells me there's no material evidence," I said, feeling my Moonstone jewellery heat up. And yes, if you try to get in my head again, I'll get in yours. Not mentally, but physically.

At this point, Professor He was surprised enough for his emotions to break through the mental barrier. Grey, on the other hand, blazed with fear and surprise. That was it. It was clear. The kid's trying out his powers.

- Don't get cocky, puppy. We're outnumbered, and if necessary, we'll kick your ass," the clawed one snarled.

- Wolverine! - said the bald man warningly.

- Heh, I remember, Magneto, numerical superiority did not help, - I said snidely, leaning on my cane. - And to make me serious, you'd have to take your entire squad.

- I suggest we all calm down," Xavier interjected, stepping up to Wolverine, ready to prove me wrong, and taking her by the arm. - Let's get back to constructive dialogue.

- Let's. I suggest you get on that ship and get the hell out of here to your school for gifted kids," I said with a fair amount of irritation. In general, after extracting the E.G.O., my emotions had become more stable, and I didn't often experience strong negative feelings. But meeting the Sentinel had managed to break through my equanimity. I'm still reeling from the event, and then these dickheads came out. - We're a little busy right now. Ellie, let's keep going.

- Okay.

- Listen to me. - Wolverine started again, but she was interrupted.

- Miss Jones, please wait with this decision," the bald man addressed Ellie, stopping his charges with a gesture and a look. - This young man is a criminal and a murderer with strange powers. He has offered wish fulfilment to more than one mutant, who soon disappeared to unknown places. Understand, he is dangerous and has unknown motives. Who knows where Mr Yesterday's Promise will take you? The price of this deal may not be too high in the end.

- Я ...

- Which brings us back to the question, where did you get this information? I own the Monolith nightclub. I have the ability to grant wishes, and I demand a commensurate price. And I never lie. You're trying to blame me for what you saw in someone's head, right? Knowing your tendency to poke your mental nose into things, that's an obvious assumption. But who knows what you saw in there and whether it's a suggestion?

- A professor never pokes his head in without permission and a good reason! - Ororo exclaimed, and lightning flashed around her.

- I would distinguish real thoughts from suggestive ones," Xavier said.

- Yes? Are you sure about that, fair lady? - He turned to Thunderstorm, ignoring the man.

- Yes, I am sure!

 - You know, there is a beautiful saying: power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely. And telepathy is absolute power. Mr Xavier could destroy all mankind in an instant. Do you think he could resist the temptation to scour your minds? Or, for example, set mental blocks in the heads of the right people in case they want to use nuclear weapons, hmm? - he mockingly asked, pointing his cane at the bald non-Brazzers.

I remember reading something like that in the comics. He admitted to doing terrible things. He also talked about getting inside the heads of rulers. I can't say that's a bad thing, because I don't want to be sunbathed in atomic flames, but it's more a question of honesty. This world is really like a comic book in some aspects. For example, using abilities for your own gain is a path to the Dark Side of the Force! Ooooh! Don't use them that way young padawan or you'll become an evil sieve! And other nonsense. One can only be a hero, have no family, no personal life and all the while chafing at the secrecy of one's evil identity, driving all loving people away. And then die for the glory of peace and democracy, of course. Fuck that prospect.

- That's rubbish! - Thunderstorm said with barely restrained doubt.

But her emotions were more eloquent. I was able to plant a seed of doubt. And in everyone. But that seed will take a long time to sprout, because Xavier is their authority, and I'm a dick. I'm in no hurry.

- Think what you want, it's all the same to me. Just stay out of our way, that's all.

- We can't let a criminal use our brothers and sisters," Xavier said, frowning.

- Wow. You sound just like Erika Lensherr. Apparently you two have quite a lot in common.

- We want to protect mutants. Just in different ways.

- That's funny. Right now you're preventing me from helping them find the life the mutation robbed them of.

- You're planning to turn mutants into an army or conduct some kind of experiment. What if the purpose of all this is to further discredit our people? We can't allow that to happen," the professor said firmly.

Retreat.

- Ohhhh," Pluto said tiredly, putting his palm to his face and throwing his head back. - How hard it is with self-appointed defenders of mutants. You're the ones who make it difficult. You have no right to tell me what to do. I made these guys a definite offer, and they'll decide for themselves what to do.

- You'll have to see if you've got them brainwashed," Wolverine said, grinning with the right side of his mouth.

- So you don't want to back down peacefully? - Charles Xavier asked, reaching for his temple with his right hand.

- That's a question for you. Okay. I guess people like you only get it through the arse," said Pluto, lowering his hand and showing his face. His eyes flashed crimson and his lips curved into a contemptuous smirk. - Perhaps it was better this way. Today had been a bad day, so it would be a good way to blow off steam. And his future clients should be protected.

Yesterday's Promise waved his hand and encased his possible contractors in an energy barrier with Star of David symbols. Making sure they would be fine, he turned his blazing eyes on the gathered mutants. He grinned again and made a tantalising motion with his palm, like something out of a martial arts film.

As if expecting it, Howlet lunged at the man, unleashing her adamantium claws as she went. At inhuman speed, she overcame the distance to her opponent and tried to stab him without any sentimentality. The woman stopped before she reached Pluto a few centimetres away from him, entangled in yellow energy chains. The opponent hummed and slowly poked Wolverine's heart with a finger.

- Puff.

- Pahhh! - wheezed the mutant, spitting out blood from her mouth and feeling a terrible pain in her chest.

Pluto knowing of the woman's incredible regeneration had destroyed her heart, thus incapacitating her for a while. In the next instant, the chains tightened and sent Howlet flying to the nearest wall.

- Wolverine! - exclaimed Wonderboy, aka John Grey, as he saw his bloodied companion slam into the building.

It was too little time for the others to react adequately. The massacre of Jane Howlett was almost instantaneous. Cyclops, roaring with rage, put her hand to her glasses and struck Pluto with an energy beam. The one with a bored expression put out a palm shrouded in a barrier and held back her opponent's attack.

Following his partner, Wonder Boy tried to immobilise Yesterday's Promise, but almost immediately felt that his ability seemed to run into an invisible field. It was the same with telepathy. There was no way to influence the man.

- Professor Xavier! Telekinesis doesn't work on him!

- And telepathy doesn't work on him either," the man added in a strained voice, using much of his vast strength.

- It's okay, but lightning will work! - Ororo exclaimed and, raising her hands in the air, unleashed a bolt of electricity at her opponent.

- This way you can kill! - Pluto said disapprovingly, completely enveloped in an energy barrier, deflecting the attacks of Thunderstorm, Wonder Boy and Cyclops at the same time.

With a wave of his hand, he created several seals in the air, from which constructs in the form of cold weapons flew at the mutants. Ororo and John Grey immediately went on the defensive with their abilities. Pluto wanted to add more blades, but Rogue flew into him and prevented him from doing so. Using all of her inhuman strength, the girl began to deliver blow after blow. The remaining mutants joined in, attacking with their abilities. However, despite the power involved, the man's defences stood firm.

Catching Shelma by the arm, Pluto struck her across the body, throwing the screaming girl away. With a snap of his fingers, he created several more seals, right over Ororo and Gray. The boy managed to push his partner away with his telekinesis, but found himself a prisoner of a slowly shrinking energy cage. Thunderstorm tried to destroy it with lightning bolts, but it didn't work, even with Summers' help. Even though the attacks did some damage, they were instantly repaired.

- Focus on the enemy! I'll get out on my own!

- All right!

At this time, Charles Xavier was trying to find a vulnerability in his opponent's mental defence, but it was all for nothing. No matter how much he concentrated, no matter how much he channelled his own power at just one enemy, nothing came out. Every mental attack was dispelled in the immediate vicinity of Pluto's body.

Kyle himself could feel his Moonstone jewellery gradually getting hotter. And it was getting quite hot. The professor was definitely not sparing any effort. But this was the perfect test drive. Would one of the strongest telepaths not only on Earth but in the universe be able to break through the Moonstone's anti-mental field? If so, it would reveal an important vulnerability, which was good for fixing the problem later. And if he can, he'll have to break through Kyle's resistance as well, which is unlikely. If he can't, that's fine. It's a win-win situation.

While Xavier was attacking the mind, his charges were busy with the body of Yesterday's Promise. The mutants saw Wolverine start to move and decided to give it a chance to attack. Without collusion, they began to distract Pluto. He just lazily shot back as if waiting for something to happen.

- Raaaaah!!!

While the man fought off the mutants without enthusiasm, Wolverine with a roar of rage, flew into the enemy. Only halfway through, an energy arm struck her from above, knocking her into the asphalt and leaving a large pothole in the pavement.

Pluto grinned and raised his right hand with a clenched fist in the air. Immediately, new energy seals appeared over the mutants, from which chains emerged. Cyclops and Thunderstorm began to knock them down, but without much success. Dandy managed to capture Ororo, Summers and Charles, leaving Rogue with Howlet. And while one was recovering her internal organs turned to mush, the other flew into her opponent and grabbed him with her bare hands. In doing so, Anna-Maria touched the skin of her right palm, in the place where Xavier's mentally bound mutants had managed to make a gap in the barrier. With her other hand, she grabbed the man's left forearm, trying to at least partially immobilise him.

- Oh! You finally decided to use your own power! - Pluto said with ironic respect, not at all bothered by the situation he was in. - Only, it won't help.

- Yeah? How about this?! - the girl asked, and everything around them erupted in a flash of plasma.

- Huh, you're a hot girl! - Pluto praised or reprimanded the practically unhurt Pluto, exhaling a stream of smoke from his mouth. - But, you know, I prefer not to make out with a girl I don't know. What will they think of me?

- Nothing anymore! - Jane wheezed, thrusting her claws into the man's back with all her might. However, they did not go all the way in. But even that result was due to Anna's influence, which weakened the enemy's barrier, and the adamantium, which Iredzumi had a hard time breaking through. This time, the miracle metal didn't fail.

- Kha! More!

- Wolverine! This is too much! - Rogue exclaimed in amazement as she saw Pluto's head droop.

- There's no other way to deal with a bastard like that! - Howlet said, pulling her claws from the corpse.

And the girl looked at the surprised face of Pluto, with rolled eyes, which she still held. But then, as in horror films, his clothes began to regenerate as if alive, and his eyes twitched and looked exactly at the girl.

- Well, you killed me. And then what? - Pluto asked, tilting his head as if nothing had happened.

- Let's kill again! - shouted Wolverine, instantly orientated and tried to pierce the enemy again.

But that one, having thrown Anna-Maria aside, pointed a finger at the approaching mutant and, using destruction, made a hole in her chest the size of a football. The adamantium-covered bones remained, but the flesh simply disappeared. For the umpteenth time in the fight, Wolverine fell to the ground, spitting up blood. But this time Pluto had bound her securely with energy chains.

- Wolverine!

Rogue watched in horror as the huge wound gradually healed, much slower than usual. She wanted to attack again, but the professor, who had contacted her mentally, stopped her.

- She's so annoying. However, I even had fun for a while. Well, enough lyrics, it's time to end this farce.

- That's right, Pluto! - Cyclops exclaimed, standing next to Xavier and Ororo. Only Grey still couldn't break the cage. Pluto tried to make it the strongest he could, knowing what lurked in this guy. - And we're going to end this now! Go X-Men!

And the mutants unleashed all their remaining power on the man. This time he had to strengthen his barrier enough to withstand the attack of two strong and extremely angry mutants at the same time. Just then, Rogue joined them, creating a seal in the air similar to Pluto's abilities and firing it at the enemy.

Anna-Maria was only able to transfer a mere drop of his power, despite the prolonged contact. It was strange, as was a certain... Foreignness to his abilities. But she would think about that later. For now, she should have put all her strength into winning!

Yesterday's Promise, putting away the cheerful expression on his face, finally became serious. The first to drop out was Professor X, who was coordinating their attacks. He was knocked out by one of the energy arms created by Pluto. The next target was Cyclops. With a simple wave of his hand, the man destroyed her glasses. Now she had to close her eyes tightly, lest she hit her allies. And the professor who had the ability to direct her lost consciousness.

Rogue gathered all of Pluto's remaining power and struck him with destruction as he had before, at her comrades. The man staggered, no longer showing in any way that the attack had reached its target, and stared intently at the girl with his crimson eyes. With a hum, he shielded himself from the furious weather with a few constructs and packed Anna tightly in chains and suspended her in the air.

Thunderstorm tried to fight back somehow, but her opponent was too strong and had rather strong attacking abilities. As a result, she too fell after a couple of seconds of desperate resistance.

- Phew! I'm too old for this," Pluto said, wiping imaginary sweat from his forehead. - And why are the Mutant Community and the X-Men so clingy? You don't know Ellie? And you guys?

The Morlocks, who had been sitting under the protection of the barrier for a short time, could only shake their heads as if to say they didn't know.

- Too bad, too bad. Well, I suggest we return..." the man began, addressing the Morlocks, but suddenly stopped and turned to John Gray, who was locked in a cage, and with whom something strange was happening. - Oh, my! Has the Phoenix himself decided to honour us with his presence?

- W-what? Phoenix? - Xavier whispered as he came to his senses. When he tried to touch his student with his mind, he recoiled in horror at the incredible power he felt. - John, what's going on?!

- Mortal, don't be arrogant! - In an inhuman voice said floating in the air Grey, looking at Pluto. At that moment, bright flames, dangerous even in appearance, appeared and disappeared around the mutant.

- Hoo! Look how you talk, puppy! Do you think that because you have a relationship with some plucked chicken, you have the right to talk to me like that? - Pluto asked, gripping his cane tighter and squinting at John.

Anne-Marie could sense that, despite his ostensible calmness, the man was tense. It was also as if he knew what was going on with her mate. Apparently this was another of his abilities that had erupted in the girl.

- You must be punished, mortal, for all your deeds! And I will be the one to do it!

- Come on! - Pluto exclaimed, wrapped in a huge amount of yellow energy and prepared to attack, but in the next moment he just froze in place. - What? Is that how it is?

- Die!!!

Rogue watched with simultaneous horror and admiration as a wave of concentrated flame hit Pluto from John. It began to shrink into a ball around the opponent's figure.

- Autarky Contract*. It is impossible to receive borrowed power. A faceless, mechanical voice sounded, and a huge black parchment with red, pulsating letters appeared at a height of five metres and immediately disappeared.

Anne-Marie had no time to realise anything before a fiery figure appeared in the air above Gray. The flames instantly dissipated, making it clear that it was Pluto. He was missing half of his costume and had numerous burns, but this did not affect the man's ease of action.

He swung his cane and struck John in the forehead with the tip of it. A couple of moments stretched a dozen times as the invisible struggle took place. The flames that enveloped Wonderboy tried to burn his opponent, but only dissipated impotently in the vicinity of his body. Grey struggled to extend his arm towards Yesterday's Promise, trying to do something, but he didn't last long. When the fire blazing near the mutant disappeared, the dandy struck the guy's forehead once more with his cane and knocked him out. The surprised guy immediately fell to the ground.

Pluto himself slowly descended to the ground, hovering in the air. His suit like a living black liquid gradually regenerated, covering his master's body. Periodically, white cuneiform marks ran across the fabric (was it fabric?). The burns on the man's body also regenerated rather quickly, leaving no marks.

- I wish I had my glasses," Pluto said suddenly, sinking to the ground. - It would be cool to flash them in style after such a feat as calming a cosmic entity. Well, it can't be helped. All right, girls and boys, it's been fun, but it's time to finish our business. Sweethearts, have you made your choice yet?

And the Morlocks have been watching the fight with their mouths hanging open the whole time.

- Miss Jones, please think carefully," Professor X interjected, moving closer to the seven mutants. - We don't know what he's after. Why is he doing this? To gain mutant subordinates? But why would he need that kind of power? And what are the side effects of his "miracle cure"?

The Morlocks thought for a moment. They were indeed quite wary of outsiders. And for good reason. Not only were they mutants, but on top of that, they were ugly in appearance. And this in a world where appearance was extremely important. But Pluto wasn't going to let this go to waste.

- Indeed, trusting a strange type like me might very well be a mistake," said Yesterday's Promise with his hands spread out. - But what I can give is worth the risk. Life hasn't been fair to you guys. No great strength, no normal looks. In a terrible coincidence, you got nothing. But that's not a judgement. I can give you that coveted normalcy. Yeah, yeah. What's the big deal? It's a question most of humanity would ask. But not you. More than one or two Morlocks have been given the chance to live as normal people and are glad they trusted me.

- On your word alone! - Jane Howlett said, standing beside a frowning Xavier.

- Miss Jones...

- That's enough! - Ellie exclaimed, clenching her fists. - Enough of all this! We just want to be normal! Just like Mr Pluto said! Neither the X-Men nor the Mutant Community can help us! And just when there's someone who can, you interfere every time! Why?! We can make up our own minds about what we want to do! We want to live a normal life!

Five of her six companions nodded vigorously, while the last mutant who had called out to the X-Men stood a little to the side.

- Liz, why aren't you saying anything? - Ellie asked, turning to her.

- Я...

- She was waiting for Mr Xavier and the others," Pluto remarked, standing next to the Morlocks. - I don't think it's wrong to say that she's the one who led them to this place.

- Liz?! Is it true?! - the only male mutant turned to her. He'd been silent before, often limiting himself to gestures, but he seemed surprised by her gesture.

- ...Yes, - Lisa reluctantly admitted, lowering her head. - But understand! What if this guy is dangerous?! You can not just take and trust one of the landers!

- I didn't expect that from you Lisa! But I don't care, it's your choice. And we've already made our decision. Yesterday. And it remains unchanged! Mr Pluto, let's get started. We want to start a new life as soon as possible!

- Of course we do! - said Yesterday's Promise with a special feeling and looked at the downtrodden X-Men with a wide smile. It was the smile of a winner. - Now let's move to a place where no one will interrupt us.

The Morlocks agreed and, flanked by Pluto, disappeared a few seconds later. But before they did, the man looked at Anna-Maria and time seemed to stop.

- When you want to get rid of your ailment beauty, find me with the help of echo.

Before the girl could ask anything, time resumed its course, Morlocks and Pluto disappeared, and the comrades present seemed to see nothing.

Rogue clearly realised that the X-Men had lost not only the battle, but also the battle for the souls of the mutants. And what Pluto had said, she would think about later....

Retreat.

Whew. What a heated encounter we had. I dealt with the Morlocks quickly, fulfilling my end of the bargain and making them look normal. They were so excited, they almost had an orgy right away. As I realised, these six mutants had been together for a long time and had formed a family. That lady, Lisa, joined them not so long ago.

In addition to their normal appearance, I was able to enhance their abilities. They didn't get an Omega level, but they were solidly in the middle. And Ellie was able to become a second Mystique. Her mutation from skin manipulation was enhanced to the level of full-blown metamorphing. However, I did my best here, seeing that the girl's ability was developing in that direction. Now all that's left is to train Ellie to be a full-fledged spy and voila. Anyway, these guys were worth it.

In fact, I got three things out of this meeting. I tested my strength against the He-Men, got useful subordinates, and learnt that I could defeat the Avatars.

In general, knowing the abilities of mutants, with my arsenal was not very difficult to defeat them. After all, they do not have visionaries, as in the case of Carmen's company. But I decided not to take them out right away. When they got out of their plane, I had an interesting, albeit a little crazy, idea. To try and take a swipe at the Phoenix host.

Wouldn't it seem silly to pounce on an entity stronger than Sentinel and capable of destroying the universe? Perhaps, but there's a nuance. In fact, Phoenix has almost always acted as a symbiote rather than an independent character. Most of the time he (or she, you can't tell) was in Jean Grey or one of her relatives. He liked her a lot. And if he was without a host, Phoenix usually acted according to the "laid algorithms", that is, as the essence of life and death, creating things, promoting the natural cycle of these concepts. And it's unlikely he'd be chasing me on purpose. In the worst-case scenario, we could throw him into one of the dimensions where the sentient beings destroyed each other. Let him restore balance there.

What's my point? It's simple. If Darkness is an extremely cruel creature with a twisted mind that wants only destruction, then Phoenix, though very dangerous, but not evil by nature. It's also severely limited by its human host. And humans are fragile creatures. Take out Gray and the Phoenix will be at peace. Of course, it's not that simple, but there's a reason I have a compact superpower suppressor that I used on the guy's forehead and a Contract of Injunction. Cut off the borrowed power and that's it, kiddies.

And it worked. The shameless redhead is still too inexperienced, too weak, and too... Human. Human in terms of reaction speed, body strength and so on. Sentinel is much more dangerous to me, simply because of her super-powered body. But my experiment was successful. So all those users of borrowed power like Juggernaut and the like are not so dangerous.

In the meantime, we should get some rest. Still, it's not like I'm gonna take a beating from an entity of this order. But first, we need to talk to Benji. Once I saw where he was, I teleported to the guy.

- Yo, mate! - greeted him with a smile. Ben himself was now sitting in his office reading his subordinates' report. - What's up?

- Hey, Kyle. Pretty good. We found-- Whoa. What's wrong with you? - Benji asked, looking at me through his E.G.O. Who are you fighting with? The information background is off the charts!

- It's nothing. I just fought a life-and-death host. I also met a cheatingly powerful heroine. The usual... Erm, what day of the week is it?

- Tuesday," my friend replied, wide-eyed.

- 'There you go, a normal Tuesday. So what were you saying?

- Hang on. Let me take the readings," the guy said and using his powers started to move his hands around me. This went on for a few minutes until two small orbs formed in both his hands. The first one was made of light and the second one was made of flame. - That was it. Now we could pick up a weapon against these... Creatures. Or at least the ability to weaken them. Not for a while, though. Even so, without a detailed study, I have a feeling it's going to be very difficult.

- That's all right. We have time.

- All right. (chuckles) So, what was I saying? Oh, yeah. We found Moira Mactaggert.

- Oh! That's good. We'll have to meet her, then. What about Essex?

- We're watching her. She's definitely got the bases covered, but we need more time to be specific.

- Right. Thanks for your work, mate," I thanked the bloke, put an arm round his shoulders. - I don't know what I'd do without you.

- And I don't know what I would have done if my mum had died. You saved the most precious thing I had, so I owe you more anyway.

- Then I say we don't fight about who owes who more, we just support each other.

- Whatever you say, Kyle.

After saying goodbye to Benji, I teleported back to my house. Okay, now it's time to get some rest! And let the world wait!

Retreat.

In a large room, coloured in all shades of red, many candles made of unknown materials were burning. A large pentagram was drawn on the floor with the blood of each of the participants in the ritual. Those present were having unbridled sex. If Kyle Smith were here, he would definitely remember the Dark Eldar.

Girls copulating with boys. Girls copulating with girls. Boys copulating with boys. Only girls. There aren't enough of them. And as an African prince used to say, that's not the way it's done here.

This was not the first time this ritual had been performed. In previous times they failed to summon their Mistress, because not all the details were done correctly, or they lacked some artefacts, but today everything would be different. For the Mistress herself was leading the Faithful.

At first it was just entertainment for the bored children of rich parents. But once they heard the infinitely beautiful voice of their Mistress, everything changed. It took a couple of months to prepare for today, but it was definitely worth it. After all, She would come and reward them in return with endless pleasure!

It went on like this for another half an hour. People continued to have intercourse like clockwork, without fatigue and transferring their energy into the pentagram. Blood served as a conduit. Alas, there was not a single magician among them, and as a result they had to make some tricks.

By the end of the ritual, when the gateway to this world was sufficiently energised, a portal opened in place of the pentagram. A woman of unearthly beauty with thick, long hair, luminous green eyes, white skin and full lips the colour of fresh blood stepped majestically out of it. Her body, as if handcrafted by a brilliant sculptor, hid nothing.

The cultists froze, staring at their Mistress with physically palpable admiration. The woman closed her eyes, smiled happily and inhaled deeply, causing her full breasts to sway, eliciting an involuntary sigh from those present.

- Ah, it's been so long since I've been in this reality! Thank you my beloved servants for such a gift! - The woman said in a deep, chesty voice, casually stroking her body.

- Glad to serve! - one of the boys present gurgled.

- Yes, you are my golden one! - The beauty smiled, but immediately became more serious. - Did you get it?

- Yes, Mistress!" said one of the girls, looking jealously at the first cultist who spoke. Turning her gaze to the woman, she pulled out a small black business card from nowhere and held it out respectfully to her mistress. - Here! It wasn't easy, but we managed to find one! We also found out where his lair is!

- How good you are! - praised the woman, looking at the card, on which was the sign of the red star of David and the crossed cane and cylinder.

- What is the purpose of this paper, Mistress? - Another of the cultists asked.

- I want to fulfil a certain Wish. I even wonder what this Promise of Yesterday is like in person... But that will be later, but for now, you should be rewarded my dear servants!

The people present almost burst into ecstasy, and the woman licked her bifurcated tongue and walked towards her cultists. Definitely, she likes being on Earth!

End of retreat.
