The Sword Emperor stood frozen in place.
His body twitched slightly, but his feet wouldn't move.
He looked down at his own hands in confusion.

But Zain didn't look at him.
His eyes stayed locked on the Heavenly Demon.
He cracked his knuckles again.
"Your turn."
The old Heavenly Demon scoffed.
"You think I'm afraid of you? You only survived because I allowed it. I made you."
Zain took a slow breath.
"No."
His red aura surged again.

"I made myself."
The Heavenly Demon roared and rushed forward.

Zain slid back a few meters, boots grinding against the cracked stone.
But he didn't fall.
He stood straight, brushing dust off his coat.
"Done already?"
