He had said the previous night that they would seek Ye Xuan's opinion about this matter and he meant it.
"General Li is an upright man and I believe we share the same goal. So, I don't see a problem in having them join us.
Having more people means having more power and human resources. We will need a lot of that, so it's a good idea to have someone of upright moral character and integrity like General Li in our camp." Ye Xuan said.
He knew that Grandpa Chu and General Li were close friends. Since Grandpa Chu could remain friends with him for so many years, then he didn't have many shortcomings.
At the very least, he must be morally upstanding. Ye Xuan prefered such a person joining them than others who would likely care more about power.
