"Well, are you coming?"
"Yes," Ethan said, his tone even, his eyes calm.

"Oh, I know. Trust me, I'm aware," she smiled, her hands sliding down her sides, her fingertips skimming her thighs.
Ethan didn't respond.
He just kept moving, his foot rising, his knee pressing into the bed, his palms flat on the mattress.
Then he moved.

She reached behind her, her arm rising, her wrist turning, her fingers brushing her spine, the gesture elegant, delicate, and entirely controlled.
