On October 3rd, 2029, our story begins with a group of young teens: Jessica, a beautiful 19-year-old girl with black hair, blue eyes, and standing 5'11", and her friends—Alucard, Markus, Isabel, and Lesley. Alucard, also 19 and 5'11" with black hair and brown eyes; Markus, 19 and 5'10" with black hair and black eyes; Isabel, 18, 5'10", brown hair and black eyes; and Lesley, the eldest at 20, matching Jessica's height with blond hair and green eyes.
They had come to explore an abandoned school known as A.I. Studies in Northern California. Rumors whispered of strange things—things worse than ghosts—haunting the place. Jessica, despite her bravery, was the only one strongly against the idea.
"Why? Are you scared?" Markus teased.
"No!" Jessica snapped. "But there might be dangerous things inside. Let's go somewhere else..."
"Aw, now you want to leave?" Alucard said mockingly. "Scaredy cat."
"What happened to the brave lion, huh?" Isabel added.
Despite her protests, Jessica followed them toward the decaying building. Once they reached the school, its exterior gave them pause—signs scrawled in fresh blood warned: "Restricted Area," "Go Away."
Jessica recoiled. "What is this place? Why are there signs written in blood?! I suggest we go back before things get out of control."
Alucard scoffed. "Of course not! We didn't come all this way to leave just because YOU'RE scared! We're here to explore, find out why it's haunted by 'worse than ghosts'—so stop complaining and grow up!"
Lesley tried to defuse the tension, but Alucard had already turned his back and stepped into the building, the others following. Jessica hesitated, her instincts screaming. Just before stepping in, she noticed a man with a flashlight in the woods, heading toward the school. Thinking he might be a cop, she ducked behind a tree as his beam swept past. Once he moved on, she caught up with her friends.
Inside, the group stopped cold. In the center of a room stood a massive portal—two-dimensional, glowing blue and purple, particles swirling outward. The air buzzed with ominous energy and distant screams.
"Is that a portal?!" Markus shouted.
"What the... what??" Alucard muttered.
"Oh my god!" Isabel gasped.
"Jesus Christ!" Lesley exclaimed.
"I TOLD you all this place wasn't safe!" Jessica shouted. "Now we can't even go back—the police will catch us!"
Before they could decide what to do—
"AHHHHHHHH!!" a distant scream echoed, followed by the sickening crack of bones.
"Hehehe… Delicious!" a guttural voice growled.
"Leave some for me!" another snarled.
Panic set in. Desperate for a decision, they played rock-paper-scissors. Jessica lost.
"You don't have to go," Lesley whispered, visibly shaken. "We can redo it..."
Jessica took a deep breath. "No. It's fine. I'll go."
She took a sound-blocking headset, a camera, and binoculars, then stepped through the portal.
At first, everything was void. But then, shapes began to take form—and what Jessica saw made her blood freeze.
"Oh dear god… what is that?!"
A massive dragon—40 feet tall—black and purple, surrounded by a shadowy aura. It slept, or at least she hoped it did.
Her camera glitched. She switched to her binoculars. Around the beast were weapons—advanced, otherworldly: laser rifles, a paralyzing gun, a glowing red energy sword, and a massive energy shield. One sword, dark blue and green, stuck into the ground beneath the dragon's wing, burned with green flames from a skull-shaped hilt. It looked protected—as if it mattered most.
To her left, far away, demons and hellhounds feasted. Their leader, cloaked in molten armor, held twin scythes and a bladed tail.
To her right, she spotted robots working on a spacecraft shaped like stacked plates.
Terrified, she grabbed what she could—rifles, sword, shield.
A sudden gust blew against her back. A crash.
She turned.
The dragon was awake—its eyes locked onto her.
She bolted, activating the shield, which deployed a red energy barrier over her left side.
"Hell yeah!" she shouted.
But then the dragon roared.
Her headphones shattered. She hit the ground.
"God! Never mind…" she groaned.
She scrambled to her feet just before the dragon unleashed a laser blast, barely dodging the shockwave. As she fled, the demon lord charged at her, his twin scythes slashing the air. She rolled toward the portal and escaped just before he landed.
"You ALL will DIE!" the demon lord bellowed after her.
Jessica stumbled out. "We have to leave—NOW!"
"Why?" her friends demanded.
"No questions. MOVE!" she shouted.
She threw a grenade back through the portal. A demon kicked it, sending it upward—it exploded, collapsing part of the building. A massive plank struck her shield, knocking them all to the ground.
Jessica rose. Thirteen demons. Their lord. Six monsters. Fourteen zombies.
She looked back. "Go! I can hold them!"
"I can't leave you!" Lesley cried.
"You can. Alucard—please take her away."
"I'm sorry…" Alucard whispered.
Jessica handed him the laser gun and turned, sword in hand, shield on arm.
She fought like a storm—slaying zombies, cutting down monsters, disabling demons. But then the demon lord struck her shield with his scythes, knocking her into a wall and disabling her gear.
The demon lord laughed. "HAHAHA! PATHETIC!"
Suddenly—the man from the woods appeared, shield in hand. He bashed into the demon lord, knocking one scythe loose.
"Give me your hand!" he shouted.
He pulled her up and ran.
"There's an exit!" Jessica said.
He glanced. It was blocked.
"Exactly. Let's go."
They ran upstairs. More monsters. Hellhounds. Third floor—two dogs. Jessica cut them down with one swing.
They ducked into a small room.
"Shh. Don't make a sound."
"Okay… but who are you?" Jessica asked.
"None of your business."
"Okay, first of al—"
He clamped a hand over her mouth. "He's here…"
A large red demon entered the room—four mechanical arms, iron armor. Jessica's phone rang. Lesley.
"Shit!" the man hissed.
The demon snarled, baring its fangs.
Jessica fired the paralyzing gun. The demon froze. The man seized her sword, leapt, and sliced it in half.
"I'm done with this shit!" he snapped.
They used a rope to descend out the window.
"Jump!"
"What?!"
"Do it!"
She obeyed. They landed and sprinted away.
Behind them, every school window glowed red.
As they caught their breath, Jessica reached for her phone.
"You're calling the cops?!" he said in disbelief.
"What else can we do?!"
"If you do, they'll arrest YOU. Don't be stupid."
"Okay, okay… I'm sorry."
"You better be."
A few minutes passed.
"This is it," Jessica said. "I'm heading south. Thanks… for saving me."
"No problem. You were lucky I was dumb enough to go to that cursed school," he muttered.
"Well, at least you're not the only one, right?"
"Yeah… you're right."
"My name's Jessica."
"Simon," he said. "Nice to meet you."
Jessica smiled. "Lovely name."
"Whatever… thanks."
"You're welcome. Goodbye."
"Bye."
Simon walked off, muttering to himself, "God… she's so cute."
And just like that—he was gone.
