I was still thinking about the further ramifications of The Unity's product when the ooh-ing and ahh-ing started as we touched down in the Under City proper and the girls got their first proper look at the city.
Another time I would have been happy to share in their excitement at seeing something so incredible but right now my attention was taken by the two people walking up to the landing area of the lift.
"Yidi!" I called out and jogged forward a few steps to make up the distance.
"Hello Misha," Yidi said with a smile. He gestured to the girls. "Your mundane friends?"
"Yeah. Melody and Coral," I introduced, pointing to each in turn.
The pair somehow managed to curb their enthusiasm for snapping photos of the place and happily greeted Yidi. When Zhan pulled up alongside us I introduced him to them as well though they weren't quite as enthusiastic. I'm always impressed by the intuition of girls.
