The pair's bickering was a familiar sound to everyone on the deck, and they simply smiled, used to the routine. Looking at the defeated enemies scattered across the battlefield, a sense of satisfaction filled the air. Law was especially pleased.
He had always known Doflamingo was a tough opponent, and he'd harbored doubt about whether he'd ever be able to avenge Corazon. But seeing how easily the Straw Hat Pirates had defeated the Donquixote Family's top cadres, he felt a new wave of hope. Doflamingo surely couldn't stand against the Straw Hats and their allies.
While Law wanted to be the one to kill Doflamingo, he was also self-aware. He knew that even with all his talent, it would be nearly impossible to surpass Doflamingo on his own. That's why he had put his faith in the Straw Hats. As long as he could avenge his benefactor, he would do whatever it took.
"Hey, everyone! We're back!"
Usopp and Nami arrived, with Usopp carrying an unconscious man and woman over his shoulders. Sanji's natural instincts kicked in, and he immediately ran over to Nami, but his eyes quickly darted to the beautiful woman Usopp was carrying.
"Usopp, what did you do?! How could you be so rough with a beautiful lady? Let me hold her, you don't know how to treat a woman right!" Sanji said, making a fuss and reaching for the woman.
Nami punched him in the head and explained, "These two are Rob Lucci and Kalifa from CP9. They were trying to assassinate Mayor Iceburg while we were there. After we caught them, they tried to kill us to keep us quiet, but we beat them."
"CP9?" everyone said in unison, looking at the unconscious Kaku nearby. It finally dawned on them that the CP9 members were all defeated, and they had barely noticed. The battles against stronger enemies like Wilbur and Diamante had taken up all their attention.
"They tried to kill you to silence you? These CP9 guys are terrible! Nami-san, are you hurt at all?" Sanji asked, turning his attention back to Nami.
"Physical attacks don't work on me, and they didn't know Haki, so what could they do?" Nami rolled her eyes and pushed his head away. "So, what should we do now? They're agents of the World Government, so we shouldn't do anything too crazy. But they did try to kidnap Robin and steal all our gold! I think as one of the Five Emperors, we can't just let that go!"
"The main point is your gold," Sanji said, a little speechless at Nami's tone, but he agreed with her reasoning. If they didn't stand up for themselves, they'd be seen as weak.
Robin looked at the unconscious Lucci, Kaku, and Kalifa, remembering Ikki's words. "Everyone, can I share my thoughts on this?" she asked.
The crew turned to her.
Robin took a deep breath. "The head of CP9, Spandam, is the son of Spandine. Twenty years ago, Spandine was the man responsible for killing my mother and all the scholars on Ohara. He was also the one who used the golden Den Den Mushi to activate the Buster Call. The World Government may have been behind the order, but I won't let Spandine get away with it."
A silent shock passed through the crew. They stared at Robin, the air heavy with her words.
Nami walked over and silently took Robin's hand, offering her support.
"Well, that's obvious, isn't it? There's nothing to even discuss," Mari said, munching on a cracker with a completely serious expression.
Yes, it was obvious. How could they let the father and son go after what they had done?
"Robin-chan, just tell us what you want to do. You don't need to say anything else," Sanji said, offering his full support.
"Yeah, Robin, we'll let you handle this. We'll follow you even if you decide to attack Marine Headquarters!" Usopp said, boasting, but everyone nodded in agreement.
Tashigi, who was listening nearby, remained silent. While she sided with Robin, she was torn because of her undercover identity as a Marine. The World Government was at fault here, but what did that have to do with the Marines? The Buster Call on Ohara was carried out by the Marines, but under the World Government's orders. The World Government was mainly responsible, and the Marines were only an accomplice.
Tashigi realized her internal justification sounded weak.
Robin smiled. "Thank you. In that case, I won't hold back. Jango, Mari, I'll need your help with something."
After a quick discussion, a phone call was made.
Spandam, who was at Enies Lobby, jumped when his Den Den Mushi started to ring. "Hello, this is Spandam. Jabra, what's the situation?"
"Sir, this is Jabra! The situation in Water 7 is chaotic, with all sorts of forces intervening. We managed to steal the Straw Hats' gold and get the blueprints, but Nicole Robin is in danger. The Straw Hats are fighting tooth and nail for their gold, and we can't hold them off anymore!"
"What?! You're all so useless! How could you mess up something so simple?!"
"Sir, please come and help us! The Straw Hat Pirates are exhausted and injured after fighting us. You can come and take all the credit. With this achievement, you'll definitely get a promotion!"
"Huh? Jabra, is this true?!"
"Of course it is! Commander, you need to hurry, or the Straw Hats will get their gold and the blueprints back!"
"Alright, alright! I'll set out immediately! You must hold on for me, my promotion and riches depend on this!" Spandam said before hanging up.
He quickly gathered his men and set sail for Water 7.
On the Going Merry, Jabra was unconscious. Jango and Mari gave each other a high five, celebrating the success of their hypnosis. Because Jabra was a World Government agent, he was difficult to hypnotize, so they had to work together.
"Thank you, Jango, Mari," Robin said, a flash of murderous intent in her eyes. "Spandine will feel the pain of losing a loved one. I'll take his son first as a down payment."
