Hello everyone,This is going to suck a bit, but I've decided to put this fic on hiatus for a month or more. There are a couple of reasons behind this decision:
First, I have a lot of ambitious plans and crazy plotlines in store—things involving Sukuna, the Culling Games, Makima and her growing importance in the story's future, and even the direction the world will take a thousand years from now. One of the major late-game arcs will include the merger between Tengen and Naoya.
There's so much I want to do, and I don't want to mess it up by rushing. So I'm taking time to properly organize everything.
Secondly, I don't want to push out chapters just for the sake of updating. I'd rather take my time and make sure everything is polished, without plot holes or inconsistencies.
The third reason is that it's summer. I've been working really hard, especially studying for and finishing my high school exams. Now that they're over, I want to enjoy some well-deserved rest—holidays, beaches, and just taking a break.
Before I started this fic, I had written a One Piece story, but it had a lot of grammar issues and was a pain to edit. Over the past month, whenever I had some free time, I began revising it—fixing its mistakes and improving the flow. I've decided to release it. I'm not promising anything big, but if people like it, I might focus on it once I finish my JJK fic.
The name of the One Piece fic is One Piece: Born to Betray.
