Alex smirked when he heard that.
'Seriously, do I look different?' Alex asked himself, puzzled by his emotions. However, he knew he would undoubtedly feel angry and concerned if something happened to her.
"Congratulations, man! I'm sincerely happy for you. You've truly found your soulmate!"
A slight smile appeared on Alex's lips upon hearing Patrick's sincere words. He replied, "Thanks! Alright, I need to go now. My wife is waiting for me..."
Alex ended the call and rushed to the main bedroom.

Aurora checked her cell phone as soon as the bedroom door closed.
When Aurora saw the picture, she felt relieved. Even her gray hair was hidden because she wore a cap to cover it, tied it back, and tucked it under her coat.
"Huh!? Did someone erase the picture?" she murmured, Patrick's face suddenly appearing in her mind. "It has to be him, doesn't it? He must be the one who did it."
Aurora tossed her phone onto the bed before hurrying to the bathroom.
