More and more questions whirled around Aurora's mind, looking at Alex, who had just left without saying anything.
'Did I hurt his feelings again by bringing up the marriage contract? Why does he look so upset?'
Aurora gazes at the suitcase filled with luxurious items. Her heart feels heavy as she wonders why Alex is angry with her.
'Is he upset because I refused his parents' wedding gift? Is my attitude annoying and unacceptable to him?'
Aurora shook her head, attempting to get Alex out of her mind.
She looked at her cell phone and thought of sending him a text to apologize.
Just as she was about to start typing, she heard footsteps approaching her bedroom.
When she glanced at the door, Alex walked in with stern steps and a stern look.
'He is still upset!' She noticed that his expression had not changed since he left the room.
"I'm sorry if I upset you, Alex."
