Chapter 52 - Part Two

The chef replied, "What a good student you are! In this era, few young people respect their elders, especially the distinguished students who always think they are above everyone else."

The chef asked, "What food do you dislike?"

Kairos replied, "Pork or soup cooked with pork. I only want beef."

Kairos described to him the foods he liked and disliked.

The chef said, "Alright, I will do everything you said."

Kairos replied, "No need to thank me. Each of us just does his job."

Kairos said to Zilla, "Please, take me to the training hall."

Zilla replied, "Alright, sir."

Kairos and Zilla went to the training hall, which was large and located underground, protected by a magical shield so that the student could practice without fear of the hall being destroyed.

Kairos was impressed with the training hall, and signs of happiness were clear on his face.

Zilla said, "I am glad you liked it, sir."

Kairos replied, "Yes, I liked it very much. And don't call me 'sir,' just call me by my name. I don't like anyone calling me sir."

Zilla replied, "But I'm just a maid, I can't call you by your name."

Kairos said, "When we are alone, call me by my name. And when strangers are here, call me sir. Do you understand?"

Zilla replied, "Yes, as you commanded."

Kairos and Zilla walked around the house, and Kairos was very impressed because it was a well-organized and very comfortable house, giving the student privacy and motivating him to work better.

After completing their tour, Kairos returned to his room to rest.

After an hour of rest, Zilla came and informed Kairos that the supervisor was waiting for him downstairs. Kairos went down to see what he wanted from him.

Kairos went down, and the supervisor stood up to welcome him. Kairos greeted him and asked him to sit first.

The supervisor said, "You are respectful as always."

Kairos replied, "Thank you for your compliment." Then he asked, "Why did you come to visit me at this time?"

The supervisor replied, "I brought your registration papers, and you can choose the class: Magic learning or Swordsmanship."

Kairos said, "I choose the Swordsmanship class."

The supervisor said, "You answered quickly! Why not think about it a little?"

Kairos replied, "I already thought about it; I prefer swordsmanship."

The supervisor said, "But the Swordsmanship class in our academy suffers a lot. It is considered the last in the academy and also the weakest. That's why students always go to the Magic class. I hope you do not regret choosing the Swordsmanship class."

Kairos said, "Don't worry, I will do my best wherever I go."

The supervisor said, "Alright, I wish you success." Then they signed the documents.

The supervisor said, "Welcome officially to our academy."

Kairos replied, "It's an honor for me to study in your academy."

After finishing, Kairos went up to his room and said, "I will go train. When it's time for dinner, come and inform me."

Zilla replied, "Alright, Kairos."

Kairos said, "Good, you are learning quickly. You are starting to impress me."

Zilla replied, "Thank you for your compliment."

Kairos went to the training hall. Meanwhile, the supervisor went to the remaining nine students to ask them which class they would attend. They all chose the Magic class.

When the supervisor reached Helena, who was last, she asked him, "Which class did Kairos choose?"

The supervisor replied, "He chose the Swordsmanship class."

Helena was surprised by his choice and said, "Ah, this seems very exciting. It seems we will face each other again soon."

While Kairos was training and not noticing the time passing, Zilla entered and said, "It's time for dinner. Do you want to eat alone or with the servants you brought?"

He replied to her, "It seems you understand quickly," then laughed, "How did you know I would eat with them?"

She replied, "I knew from the way you talk to them and also from their behavior—they don't act like servants, and from the elegance of their steps, they look like nobles."

He replied, "It seems you are observant," then smiled.

She said, "I am just answering your question, sir, and doing as you command."

He said, "Good. I want you to continue what you do," then approached her and said, "If anything happens to them or anyone finds out what you know, you know what I will do, right?"

She replied, "I understand exactly what you mean. I won't say anything about what happened here."

Kairos smiled and said, "Good. I will wait for dinner. Ah, and tell the chef that his cooking is very good."

Zilla said, "Alright, sir, I will tell him that."

Meanwhile, Isabel and Fern were sitting in their room while Kairos was conducting a cold war with the servants, warning them indirectly by his actions or words against anyone.
