We have been doing training after training in past two weeks.
It was intense and we focused heavily on creating teamwork rather than individually but we also did not back down from individual training.
I have also been taking care and teaching Kushina a lot of things to take care of her while she was away.
She was told that she will be going another village soon so she has been feeling down a lot lately so I have been her motivation and guide on what to do when she arrived
there. I told her to make friends and not to be alienated by others but do not let others bully you easily. I told her to be proud because she is the princess of the Uzumaki clan and we were pretty powerful.
Even though Kushina is four or five years old she doesn't have many friends at her age so me and Akane usually accompanied her stayed with her.
She has been quite cheeky and cheerful a lot so I don't know anyone who can discriminate against her in konoha.
She was against it at first and was ready to leave her parents but we convinced her it was not much longer before she comes back and we will take her back soon. I told her to treat going there as a vacation or education to learn new things. So we barely convinced her.
The drilling training ended only after everyone got on at least one combo with each other.
I told them that I was not part of the teamwork training since I was going act as a leader but anyway I joined the drilling training to help others.
We also had a mocking battle and various kinds exercises. Like royal battled for all of them but akane came out on top everytime without exception. She was basically a jounin albeit lower tier one but she was coming at an unprecedented pace. So she will be the first one to become full fledged jounin in the upcoming months.
Others were not there to play as Hikari was high tier chunin. He was likely to become a special jounin soon. Hibari as well as she was unnoticeable all the time. Because she liked the fuinjutsu I gave her some time ago' the Concealing seal' she made it her own and she mastered it.
She might become one the best ninjas out there as she was silent all the time And she was playing with Akane only. The others almost hated her, even though she is strong she is playing dirty game and sneaks up on others.
For example Hikari likes to fight straight a head and honorable fight but hibari always wins against him by sneaking up on him and that's why he was always nagging her to fight seriously and she liked annoying Hikari. She liked teasing him and that worked wonders.
Others were not working hard seriously so they had become high ranking chunin but that was commendable for someone their age. They would pass as a talented ninja that was upcoming but here they were training longer and they had the potential to become a jounin so it was a good to train hard anyway.
It was a solid two team and the only one remaining is the jounin team leader of the other team. I have already picked my team which consisted of Akane, Hibari and Haruko.
It was versatile though it seemed like I picked the best of them but they didn't complain since they saw Haruko who was the weakest being included.
We prepared everything we needed within these two weeks.
The awaited day came in the blink of an eye. It was exhilaration and a day full of expectations. Everyone was beaming with hope and experience. Since konoha had enormous reputation, my friends and I was even more excited.
I was looking forward to visiting konoha since it was basically the main theme of the anime. It was the hub of the all the leading characters in the anime. Both villains and heroes were from here so it had the strength to back up its reputation.
This mission would be about protection and escorting. And it will be a sightseeing for me.
We gathered at the Uzukage's office early in the morning at the appointed time.
It was chilling day. It was cold somehow and we gathered earlier than the time we were supposed to come.
After little bit of conversation with others. The Uzukage came with ninja little bit older than your average ninja.
He looked like middle aged uncle but he had solid muscles and his vibe was screaming with strength and confidence.
His presence and aura overshadowed mine. He was probably stronger than me. I estimated him to be low tier kage level powerhouse.
The mission got a lot complicated and easier if he was the one that was accompanied us. It was another layer of reassurance.
I thought we would be getting strong jounin as the leader of the other team but I was not expecting the strength to be this level.
He seemed too serious to be joked and conversed with. His hair pale red as if it would start to become white soon.
He was tall compared to the average Uzumaki adult. He reeks of experience. He had enormous amounts of chakra. I bet he was a genius in his generation.
He seemed to know the Uzukage personally. They seem to be in the same generation. I bet he is stronger than he let on.
He saw me observing him and looked at my gaze and responded with little chuckle. His eyes were scrutinising and he seemed to know that I was observing him all along.It was a tense moment but he started looking at others too.
The Uzukage sat down on his chair and started getting ready to give us our mission and information.
We were also waiting for him silo we shut down our murmurs and everything went silent for a second.
