The Bat-Bat Fruit, Model: Vampire — a Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit.
That was how the Redfield had regained his youth and strength, just like in the legends.
Elior already knew several of the Mythical Zoans in this world: Sengoku's Human-Human Fruit, Model: Buddha, Marco's Bird-Bird Fruit, Model: Phoenix, and Kaido's Fish-Fish Fruit, Model: Azure Dragon — all immensely powerful abilities.
Of course, there was also the Snake-Snake Fruit, Model: Yamata no Orochi, wielded by Orochi — but that one had been squandered. In Elior's opinion, Orochi had been too pathetic to ever bring out the true potential of a Mythical Zoan. It was just like Caribou's Swamp-Swamp Fruit — a formidable Logia wasted on an imbecile.
Elior had considered that fruit before. Now that he possessed the ability to devour power, it would be easy to claim it for himself.
Not for his own use, nor for any of his women — he found the Swamp-Swamp Fruit too distasteful to use personally — but he could give it to one of his subordinates. Perhaps one of his officers would make better use of such power.
In particular, Shiryu still had no Devil Fruit ability. Out of respect for his loyalty, Elior wouldn't mind granting him one.
If Shiryu received the Swamp-Swamp Fruit, it would be far superior to the Clear-Clear Fruit he possessed in the original timeline. Invisibility was nearly useless in the New World — anyone with advanced Observation Haki could sense an "invisible" opponent easily.
Bullet spoke up, eyeing the Redfield.
"Could it be that Mythical Zoan you mentioned before, Captain?"
"That's right," Redfield replied calmly. "I found the fruit in the South Blue. It not only restored my youth but also returned my power to its absolute peak."
"Unbelievable…" World muttered.
"To recover both youth and strength… terrifying."
"Redfield's prime strength rivaled that of the current Yonko" said another, "though maybe not Captain Elior — he's already beyond imagination."
Even so, everyone was shaken.
To see a man of Redfield's caliber return to full strength was like watching Whitebeard resurrect with his youth restored — utterly shocking.
Redfield had once stood alone against the likes of Roger and Whitebeard, his might considered on par with both men and the crews that followed them. Whether that was exaggeration or not didn't matter — the world had acknowledged his power.
He had only been captured after defeating Kong, before his stamina finally ran out.
Redfield turned toward Elior, his crimson gaze sharp. "Elior, now that you've destroyed the Revolutionary Army… what's your next move? Does it include overthrowing the World Government?"
Redfield ignored Bullet and the others. He was still the same proud, solitary legend — too arrogant to treat anyone as an equal. But Elior had earned his respect.
He had already heard the rumors — that Elior had single-handedly crushed the Revolutionary Army. Even Redfield knew that organization was no small force.
"The fall of the World Government," Elior said from his throne-like chair, "will be the final war. For now, our next target is the Red-Haired Pirates."
Redfield's brows lifted. "You intend to kill Red-Hair?"
Bullet and the others weren't surprised — they had already heard of Elior's plan — but Redfield's expression turned grim.
Elior continued, "Shanks acts as a peacekeeper between pirates and the World Government. I believe he's either a Celestial Dragon himself… or has become the World Government's hidden agent."
Redfield's eyes widened slightly. "A Celestial Dragon…? As a Yonko?"
Elior's grin was sharp. "Think about it. He's the only pirate in history to be personally received by the Gorosei. That alone says everything."
"I see…" Redfield said after a moment, voice low. "So that's your plan. Very well. I'll stay here on your Paradise Island for now. When the time comes to destroy the World Government, I'll lend my hand. You won't need me for Red-Hair yet, will you?"
Elior nodded. "Not yet. But after that, we'll head for Laugh Tale. Interested?"
Redfield's crimson eyes narrowed. "Laugh Tale?"
Elior leaned forward slightly. "I already possess three of the Road Poneglyphs. The translations are no problem. I estimate we'll find the final one soon."
Redfield chuckled. "If you're going to Laugh Tale, then I'll join you."
"Glad to hear it," Elior replied with a faint smile. "By the way, Redfield — have you ever heard of the God Valley?"
At the mention of that name, everyone fell silent. Redfield frowned.
"God Valley… yes. Rocks and his crew once set foot on that island."
Bullet's eyes widened. "You know about it?"
Everyone turned toward Redfield in anticipation.
He exhaled slowly. "God Valley was a holy island where the Celestial Dragons performed their ceremonies — a place named after the gods themselves. That alone should tell you how arrogant they are. They call themselves gods… but they're nothing more than beasts in human form, desecrating the very idea of divinity."
"A place where the Celestial Dragons worship…?" several voices murmured, stunned.
Elior remained composed — he had already heard the name before from his aunt — but he was eager to learn more.
Redfield continued, "In addition to their rituals, the island also served as a burial ground — the Tomb of the Gods lies deep within. Long ago, it's said that the ancestors of the Celestial Dragons waged war there against an ancient kingdom. That's why the island is so sacred to them. Even in my time, it was shrouded in secrecy."
Everyone was struck silent. Even Elior felt a chill run down his spine.
And then Redfield said something that froze the room.
"Legend has it that one of the Ancient Weapons — Uranus — lies hidden within God Valley. Unlike Pluton, the warship that can obliterate an island in a single shot, or Poseidon, the mermaid princess who commands the Sea Kings, Uranus is said to be a living being — an immortal, ancient creature that has slumbered for centuries."
The air went still.
"Pluton can annihilate islands. Poseidon commands the oceans. But Uranus… Uranus is said to be the strongest of the three. A power beyond gods — a myth even among myths."
"An ancient creature…?" Elior repeated, his voice low. Even he was taken aback.
His aunt had once told him Uranus might be sleeping within God Valley — but she hadn't known what it truly was.
Now, hearing it from a legend like Redfield — a man who had lived through that era — was something else entirely. Whether the tale was true or not didn't matter.
It was a revelation powerful enough to shake the world.
