Instead of going to the restaurant, I decided to head over to the church and stay at the altar until I find peace and renewed confidence within myself to face anything.
It was at that moment that Pastor Silas came to meet me since he was always present in the sanctuary. He quietly knelt beside me and said a little prayer before asking a question.
"What seems to bother you, Lanzon?"
I closed my eyes and sighed heavily as I thought of a way to say it without also saying it at the same time. It was obvious that whatever Ingrid is going through must be frightening to her and she must be scared to death and having it hard to deal with it alone.
"Is it possible for a human to turn into an animal?" I honestly asked and waited for his response since he knew a lot.
For a moment silence reigned and when I thought he wouldn't have an answer, he responded.
