~{INGRID'S POV}~
*
The drive back home was painful and I absentmindedly stared out the window while replaying everything that happened back at the church.
I should've known it was him, especially from his unusual tallness and buffness.
God, he was a fine man and I couldn't stop beating myself for not noticing on time. If only I had known earlier I would've gone after him while he was still speaking with the brown haired man.
But now it was too late until another time.
And while I was still in that atmosphere, a voice echoed in my mind and I gasped as my eyes widened in shock.
"When you have the time, go to church. He's waiting for you."
How did I miss it?!
Had the old man who distributed tracts been discreetly directing me to go to church because my future husband was there all along?
Oh God, how did I miss it?
What if I hadn't even considered going to church then I would've missed him completely.
"Oh God," I groaned and face palmed myself in frustration.
