A WEEK LATER…
"All you have to do is smile and be the hero you are," Hui calmly advised and I smiled at him as I prepared myself to face the crowd which were already gathered outside.
It never sank in how many fans I garnered till this very day and it was overwhelming.
I was going to showcase my powers and it would be livestreamed and once that is done, I will go back inside for a little bonding with most of my fans. Since I couldn't meet everyone, a selected few were chosen to have a one on one contact with me.
"You've got this," Hui cupped my face and gave me his charming smile before carefully brushing a strand of hair from my face.
Taking a deep breath, I flexed my muscles before nodding.
"She's ready!" The man in charge of the show screamed and I headed to a lift that will lead me onto the stage.
Before I stepped in, Hui gave my hand a gentle squeeze and I smiled back with a firm nod.
