I'm staring at the passing cars; the people in the passing cars, and I wonder if they know the brevity of life. If they know the importance of freedom. Am wondering, do they value that word, or do they only see it like another silly word in the dictionary.
No, freedom isn't just another word in the dictionary. Freedom is life. Freedom is your identity as a human. Freedom is your will to live life on your own terms. No limits. No harnesses holding you back. Just an endless spring of life.
But these people in these vehicles, have no idea the gift they've been given. Moving at will, to wherever they want. Pick up their vehicles and drive anywhere. Drive to see a lover. Drive because they can drive.
Jayce would never drive again. Jayce would never breathe again. Jayce would never taste coffee again.
