Howard paused.
Because Chen's father was still beside him, Howard maintained his smile, but apart from the corners of his mouth, the rest of his facial muscles had already begun to contort.
"Consultation? Is there consultation?"
His question wasn't actually a question.
"Yes, there is." Nan Zhubin answered as if it really were a question, "So I have to leave now."
Then Nan Zhubin turned: "I have already explained Chen Ting's situation to her in our last consultation. Based on my evaluation then, she's capable of leaving consultation—being too reliant on it isn't a good thing, Mr. Chen."
"Of course, I haven't been following up on her situation recently. If you think it's necessary for her to start consulting again, maybe you could bring her along next time. I'll do another evaluation and see if further intervention is needed."
At this point, Nan Zhubin displayed a flawless, professional smile.
