Among the most perilous moments was when the horse unexpectedly attempted to slam Xu Ke onto the ground from its back. Initially, those who had little interest in the horse training were suddenly gripped with suspense at this reversal, unsure whether they hoped Xu Ke would fall off or continue to persevere.
The crowd watched tensely, staring at the person on the horse's back, but the one who should have been most anxious showed no sign of panic. Xu Ke even let go of the reins voluntarily, raising his hand to strike the horse's neck. With just one punch, the horse neighed painfully, lifting its front hooves, halting its earlier attempt to throw Xu Ke off.
Xu Ke leaned down, pressing against the horse's back as he firmly declared to the black horse, "I told you to behave, or I will beat you dead."
The black horse, once more feeling the murderous intent in Xu Ke's voice, anxiously pawed at the ground but dared not make any major moves to try and throw Xu Ke off again.
