Lynch smiled gently, "No disturbance."
He beckoned to Avery. Avery hesitated as she walked into the room, her movements somewhat constrained, her hands unconsciously twisting the fabric of her clothes, her gaze wandering, and she appeared very nervous.
"What's wrong?" Lynch asked with concern.
Avery gently shook her head, "Nothing."
As she spoke, she was about to move towards the chair beside her, but Lynch reached out and lightly pulled her over, letting her sit sideways on his lap as she used to. Avery's body visibly stiffened, her fingers unconsciously tightening.
"What exactly is wrong?" Lynch asked again, his voice softer.
Avery still shook her head, "Really, it's nothing."
Seeing this, Lynch didn't press further and instead said, "I was just discussing the matter of crusading against the Freemasonry Church with my companions in the Wizard Domain."
"Oh," Avery responded softly, her eyes lowered.
