Unlike earlier before after his intense battle with the bearlike creature he didn't pass out as he reached out towards the faint glowing light from the center of the large snake.
The moment he reached out to it two things occur simultaneously first the large snake began to shrink in size and secondly the resonance he felt when he passed out after his battle with the bearlike creature was felt once more but it was clearer this time around.
Shad Darc was shocked to see the large snake body shrinking in size which stunned him for some unknown reasons.
"What the hell is going on here" he said looking baffled and stunned.
But then he is in a strange new world after all.
Well that aside he focused on the resonance he just felt with him being consciously aware of the resonance he was able infer a thing or about it.
Firstly, the resonance only resonant with the strange feeling which he first felt which in turn made the strange feeling to appear a little bit clear.
Secondly, he noticed that the resonance he feels anytime he reached out to the faint glowing light which seems to get sucked into him serves as a booster and also strengthener to the flow of energy within him.
That is, it strengthens the flow of energy inside him by increasing it quality. It doesn't increase the quantity of the flow energy inside him only its qualities.
"Interesting" he said as if his interest being is piqued, which it was.
"So basically, this faint glowing light that got absorb into me is nothing more than an energy upgrader, well that explains why it was much easier for me to fight this disguised snake" he said all this looking at now slightly bigger python like snake which was formerly the size of two well grown anacondas.
Without wasting time, he went to corpse of the dead snake and pull out it two fangs it wasn't easy but the help of the flow of energy he was able to do it a less stressful way.
The fangs aren't that big barely the length of his palm. Looking at the fangs in his hands his thought begins to wonder.
He begins to think if all this was real and not some kind of dream or simulation though he might have accepted the fact that he is now in a different world there is still a part of him that is still being skeptical to a whole thing.
After all he wouldn't have believed even if he was told by himself in a dream or through a revelation that he would be transferred into a different world from Earth and come to have strength to fight such strange looking creatures.
An inner voice deep within him spoke "You know that isn't entirely true right?" Shad Darc didn't respond to the inner voice but pretended as if he didn't hear the voice.
With the two fangs in his both hands he walked towards the direction of where the corpse of the bearlike creature is.
On reaching there he immediately knelt down on one kneel at the front of the dead corpse of the bearlike creature looking at the two holes left in position of the creatures' eyes.
And he begins to wonder if truly he was the one that killed the bearlike creature. It is not like Shad Darc is finding it hard to believe that he is now capable of killing this type of creatures but rather in fact that everything is progressing to fast his strength and adaption into this strange world it feels somehow unreal and too fast as if he is being spooned fed by someone or something.
Though he feels this way but then there is nothing he can do if he wants the truth then he must become stronger and explore this strange new world.
After all this world feels more welcoming to him than Earth which doesn't make any sense because he feels more at home in this world or maybe in this weird forest than he has ever felt back on Earth.
"I wonder why" he can't help but ask out but there is no one to answer him not even his three identities.
With all the thought of why and how this and that Shad Darc manage to remove the two horns of the bearlike creature with the help of the fangs.
Looking at the horn, he now clearly sees the difference between this creature horn and that of rhino.
If rhino horns are slightly curved and rough to touch this one own is different, he feels smooth to touch and it is not curved in any form or shape it just a straight long horn of about sixty inches for the lower horn and about 25 inches for the upper one stuck in a bear head.
Speaking to himself and to no one in particular "Well it is not like it matters to me that much, all that matters is having a weapon to use".
Afterwards he stood up and decided to swing his new weapon so as to familiarize himself with it but to his surprise and also his second shock of the day.
The moment he took the two horns away from the creature body and decided to swing it around something completely unexpected happen.
The two horns in his hands completely lost their weight not completely though but it feels as if he is holding a feather which feels weirder and stranger to him than the shrinking of the large snake.
"Damn, just what is wrong with the creatures of this forest are they all exaggerating their size and buffing themselves to make them feel intimidating or I am that weak that I didn't notice"
He pretends to think for a while before continuing with his open thoughts.
"Now that I think about it, this thing horns weren't this long and intimidating when we were fighting it was only after its death that it grew this long".
He pondered for a while and added "strange such bizarreness and illogical situations"
"Hmm, well it is a strange world after all"
Looking at the two straight horns with no particular expression he decided to talk himself into training.
"Rather than wasting my time on things I cannot explain I should instead use that time to train so I can survive in this new world".
With that he went back to the huge train which had sheltered him before "looking at it now, it does look very big probably the biggest tree I know off".
"But then from an objective point of view it doesn't look that big neither does it give the impression that it is huge or is it concealing its true size somehow".
"You think a lot and it is not necessary a good thing" said the lonely king identity.
"Is that so?" he said plainly
"Well never mind we have important things to do" said the lonely king identity.
Shad Darc immediately proceed to climb the tree sitting at same spot he did when he first climb it.
After sitting on wide branch, he calmed himself down and sits in a lotus position then began to meditate.
He was meditating and circulating the flow of energy at the same time channeling it in a way that it will provide healing and restoration instead of accumulating or empowering himself.
And then he came to know that the flow energy can do more than strengthening oneself. Of course, he was already aware of the fact that the flow of energy can do more than just strengthening one's body, but he was yet to experiment on it.
Until when he woke up three days after the battle with the bearlike creature only to see himself completely healed.
And now he came to call the flow of energy in another way.
"Energy flow" it has the same meaning as the flow of energy, but this is shorter sounds nicer to him.
