After they left the house, Anthony had a huge happy grin on his face, his mouth practically split to his ears.
"Look at how happy you are, you look just like a husky." Just short of sticking his tongue out—seeing Anthony looking all silly and cheerful, Thomas Fisher couldn't help teasing him.
"Sis! What's a husky?"
Anthony didn't really get what "husky" meant, but judging from the way Thomas said it, he knew this "husky" definitely wasn't a compliment, so he turned to ask Alice Turner.
Alice nudged Thomas with her elbow, then blinked innocently and said, "He's complimenting you for being cute."
"Really? He'd compliment me?"
Why did Anthony look so unconvinced? He leaned forward to look at Thomas across Alice, but he couldn't read anything from Thomas's face; still, he just felt that "husky" wasn't a good word.
Thomas chuckled. "You're so cute, why wouldn't I compliment you?"
Cute like a husky—that's still a compliment, isn't it?
