As Lily Turner searched downstairs, Easton Holmes was already on the phone with Fabian Holmes in the study, the atmosphere on both ends somewhat tense.
"What will it take for you to leave your brother alone?" Fabian's voice was deep, yet intertwined with urgency.
Seeing that the call was from Fabian, Easton was already very certain of the purpose; his father was still siding with that brother, still favoring that brother.
What was so special about that brother? Why did their father favor and side with him so much? Was it because that brother was born to the woman outside?
What kind of magic did that woman have? Why did she, even after dying so long ago, continue to deeply attract his father?
