Although the name Sophia Wood just mentioned wasn't Lily Turner, Lily knew that the "Rosie" Sophia referred to was her; it was probably her childhood nickname.
This nickname must have been given to her by both her parents. When she thought of this, she couldn't help but look at Daxton Taylor's photo.
"Dad! You probably don't recognize me yet, so let me formally introduce myself—I'm Lily... I'm Rosie. You must remember me." Lily Turner reached out to touch Daxton Taylor's photo on the tombstone, her nose tingled, and her eyes brimmed with tears. "Now I know you're here. I will come to visit you again."
It turned out she had misunderstood her mom all along. It wasn't that her mom didn't want to bring her to see her dad, but her mom also didn't know where his grave was.
Sophia Wood extended an arm around Lily Turner's shoulders, tightening it slightly in a silent act of comforting the grieving Lily.
