After Lily Turner and Easton Holmes packed up their things and went downstairs, they left the house with Callix Linton, heading straight to Mr. Linton's warm home.
When she learned that Lily Turner was pregnant, Auntie Li was overjoyed. Under Mr. Linton's deliberate instructions, she not only made nourishing soup for Lily but also prepared a special tonic soup for Easton Holmes.
"Auntie! Isn't this soup a bit too much?"
Looking at the large bowl of chicken soup in front of her, Lily felt a headache coming on. There was no way she could drink all that; she felt that even half would be too much for her.
Before the questioned person had a chance to reply, Easton, sitting next to her, already spoke: "Just drink what you can, don't force yourself."
As he spoke, he got up and left the dining room, but he returned shortly after.
This time, he had two more things in his hands: a small bowl and a large ladle.
