Lily Turner was initially very puzzled by Easton Holmes' actions, but she quickly understood that it was her fault for not explaining things clearly to him.
"The flight is at ten-thirty, I have to head back to my apartment immediately now, they're coming to pick me up there." Lily Turner briefly explained her situation, hoping that the man holding her would let go.
"Why do you need to rush back to your apartment? Isn't this your home?" Easton Holmes' focus was completely off of what Lily Turner was trying to express. He was concerned about why she needed to rush to her apartment, while she was trying to convey that she was in a hurry and needed to leave here immediately.
Lily Turner lowered her head to look at the large hand holding her before turning her gaze back to its owner, "This is my home, but they're used to picking me up at the apartment."
Right! It's just a habit.
Since entering the entertainment industry, she had been staying at that apartment.
