His dagger was raised high, about to strike down. Suddenly, a strange feeling crept into his mind, as if a silhouette flashed past him. The bishop turned to inspect, and his left hand's scepter just managed to block the dagger aimed at his back.
The Halfling Felps immediately dropped the weapon in his hand because he felt a force on the scepter that was sucking his dagger, preventing it from falling. His pinky finger swiftly switched hands, flicking a short blade from his sleeve, launching a second attack toward the bishop's heart.
"You filthy little demon!" The bishop, although a bit flustered, barely managed to prevent the second assassination attempt with his own black long dagger. "How did you dodge my spell?"
The pinky finger naturally didn't answer him. Both of his attacks had failed, and his position was exposed. As a wanderer, he quickly jumped back and rolled on the ground to avoid the scepter's strike.
