Zilvra lifted the Elf Cloak from her body and walked to the side of the Obelisk, starting to examine the thing carefully. The black stone had no flaw, nor any pattern. This obelisk seemed to have been carved from a single large stone rather than constructed by some method of joining.
Zilvra placed her hand on it and then quickly withdrew her fair hand as if shocked by electricity. She said in surprise, "Lynch, this thing is actually soft!"
Lynch stood beside her, also immediately testing it with his hand. This thing was not just soft; it was as if it didn't exist, akin to air. Except for a feeling of outward thrust—as the hand went deeper, this force grew stronger—the Mage didn't believe he had actually touched anything.
"Lynch, do you know what this is? Could it be a new kind of Magic Material?" Zilvra sniffed the air with her nose and found the Mage's direction. She said, "Is the Obelisk protecting something? If the force is strong enough, maybe its secret can be discovered."
