The girl's delicate brow arched slightly, as if hearing it for the first time.
Soon, a look of sudden realization crossed her face. "Ah, so it's the Lv Group that's suspected of financial fraud."
She scrutinized Lv Jiarong briefly before smiling. "You're Lv Hui's daughter?"
Lv Jiarong felt a slight jolt inside.
Her father held some standing and influence within the industry. Yet, this girl, so young, spoke his name with such natural and casual ease as if—almost as if—she stood at a height far above Lv Hui.
Lv Jiarong wasn't a fool. There was no way Chairman Lan's girlfriend would be an ordinary person. Judging by the tone, the girl might very well be the daughter of some powerful family. In that case, her demeanor was hardly surprising.
She nodded slightly. "I'm Lv Hui's daughter, Lv Jiarong. My father's case has questionable points; I want to ask Chairman Lan to look into it thoroughly..."
