Matthew Morgan turned his head to glance at Cloudy following Chloe Grant's words, his face devoid of expression.
He turned back, leaning his body against the sofa.
Chloe Grant glanced at the little guy again, expressing her sympathy for him.
The little guy was initially aggrieved, but soon enough, he seemed to forget and started playing by himself.
Chloe Grant was always watching him.
She leaned forward, her elbows resting on her knees, her palms supporting her chin.
"Uncle Morgan..."
After a while, Chloe Grant suddenly spoke.
"Hmm?"
"Where is Cloudy's mom?"
When Chloe Grant asked this question, her voice was soft, but the little guy playing by himself seemed very sensitive to the subject, immediately lifting his head, his eyes sparkling as he looked over.
Chloe Grant had been saddened for a long time because of Cloudy's presence.
