As Delphine stepped out of the TV station, she saw the extended Rolls-Royce parked at the entrance. A man in formal attire, with a handsome and mature face exuding an elegant charm tempered by time, stood quietly by the car door.
Delphine smiled at the host who escorted her out and the station's staff, then confidently walked towards the man in her high heels.
Initially, she moved slowly, mindful of her posture, but her pace quickened until she nearly ran into the man's arms, tiptoeing and wrapping her hands around his neck, she cheerfully asked, "Mr. Leclair, did you watch my live interview?"
Ignatius Leclair saw the dazzling light in her eyes, and his handsome face broke into a tender smile. In a low voice, he replied, "I saw Mrs. Leclair's confession."
"That was a script, not a confession." Seeing his smug look, Delphine raised her chin and decided to deny it.
