"Which family's daughter dares to have you as a son-in-law?" Delphine said, dumbfounded.
Marry in? Griffith Squire? The notorious warlord from the Golden Triangle wanting to marry into a woman's family? Delphine thought this was more shocking than Ignatius Leclair having a split personality.
Griffith coughed uncomfortably, knowing he'd have to tell Delphine about it sooner or later.
"It's just that three years ago, she saved my life, and demanded I repay her by marrying in," Griffith said with interest. He was actually a bit excited; there was actually a woman who wanted him to marry in; her taste wasn't bad. Since he needed to repay her, he'd just marry her.
Anyway, Delphine here was a no-go, as she always saw him as a brother, and he'd considered her a sister for ages.
